Read moreThe whole menu is vegan so if you want “normal” cow milk you should go somewhere else 😜.
The menu is quite elaborated. You can find burgers, soups, salads or wraps. And lately you can also try out their famous Mac’n’Cheese.
The burgers are good and tasty but not over the top.
The salads unfortunately, have from my opinion too much dressing on it.
However, they do have very appealing and delicious desserts from API, a must to try!
Edit: Tried out their vegan revisited Caesar salad. The usual chicken was replaced by the chicken nuggets, which were very tasty.
On the other hand, the rest was also good, but nothing special, and way too much sauce, as always.
PS: no more patisseries from API, however, they still serve delicious looking and tasting desserts on their counter.
Edit: little coffee break with a sweet. First choice was the lemon meringue tarte and second was a slice of the chocolate cake.
The lemon meringue was nicely lemony and the meringue was nicely airy and not too sweet.
However the chocolate cake was to my liking too dense and too much chocolate.

After having many vegan options on our trip through France and Luxembourg that were in the "veggie burger/vegan pizza" style, having a poke bowl with fresh tastes and vegetable-forward was an absolute breath of fresh air. Beautiful presentation and excellent flavors.

Delicious mix of comfort and upscale dishes - Edit
Beet is rightfully a vegan mainstay of Luxembourg, with some great comfort food options, like Truffle Mac’n’Cheeze, and some healthier (but still delicious) options, like the Dal. I love the chili peppers you can add to the Mac'n'Cheeze -- a really nice touch.

A few hours before we ate a wrap at ‘Seed’, I read it was the small sister of ‘Beet’, but didn’t know it was in the same building (when you walk down the stairs at Beet, there is Seed). Some things were the same on the menu. I choose the Mac’n’truffle’cheese, which was very tasty.

The food was tasty, nothing special. What bothered me, however, was the impersonal nature of it. When we arrived, we were just greeted with a hello. The order was taken by simply looking at us, without a word. When we were ready and wanted to pay, we had to wait quite a long time. At the end they wanted to clear our table without saying a word. Apparently other people noticed this strange atmosphere too; while we were there, two tables left before ordering.

Inside and outdoor seating available. I had a Caesar wrap with oven potatoes and the hubby did the pesto falafel wrap with fries. Vegan Mayo, etc available. Very healthy portion size for us. Tasted very fresh.

Do yourself a favour and order cheesy sweet potato chips (or alternatively regular fries but make them cheesy!). So good! The burger was nice, not amazing but tasty. The salad had the tastiest dressing I've had in a while. Would recommend 😊

Read moreThe food and drinks were not that good tbh. My boyfriend's iced tea tasted like flavorless water. And more importantly, I ordered a cheeseburger and my boyfriend a BBQ burger. Yet he received more cheese on his burger than I did. I just got a small splash of cheese sauce in the middle of my burger. When I politely asked our waiter if this was really a cheeseburger he looked annoyed, said "yes" and left.
Which brings me to the service. From start to finish the waiter was very cranky and rude. He only gave us one menu for the two of us, kept looking annoyed the entire time he walked by and wasn't friendly at all. Another waiter who served us our coffee just put it down in front of us without saying a word and left.
For the amount of money they charge you you'd expect some decent service and food. I don't expect anything fancy but if the food lacks flavor and ingredients and the staff is rude, what am I paying for exactly? Will not be back here and do not recommend going here.

Der Apfelsaft schmeckt wie frisch gepresst, freundlicher Kellner, Algen in der Bowl und Fritten mit tollem Kartoffelgeschmack. Ein fantastisches Restaurant. Das einzige Problem war, dass die Bowl extrem nach Essig geschmeckt hat.

Beet has a cosy atmosphere and a top location. In the past, I loved going there, but the quality of the food and of the service has decreased a lot in the last months. It is not as tasty as it used to be any more, and staff is not paying so much attention anymore. I guess this happens when you rest on laurels.

Read moreFrom one side it is a cafe ( Seed), from the other side a huge restaurant, Beet. The staff was not so engaged and my falafel wrap with potatoes tasted good, but was not worth the price.
The sides was cooked potatoes within nothing.
After the meal I wasn‘t hungry anymore, but therefore I didn‘t go in restaurants for the main part.

Not often we come somewhere twice - Edit
Earlier the same day we went to Seed and we decided to come back for dinner to Beet to try some more dishes. The location is very pretty at the Knuedler (I think it also had a roof terrace but that wasn’t open) and there is a huge variety of dishes. Some people complained about the wait time but our food and drinks arrived very fast so I can’t say that at all.
