I stop here every time I’m in New York City. In fact, if I’m here for a week I’ll end up grabbing food from here several times as it’s usually close to my hotel and open until 10.

I ate in by Chloe 4 times on a 5 night trip to NYC over the Christmas period, it’s hard to choose what to have because everything looks delicious and everything I had was so delicious from pancakes in the morning served with a pear and cinnamon topping with a side of maple S to the guac burger with half n half fries (baked) and the fab dips and vegan cookies and treats! 10/10 all around! Come to Ireland please 🙏

I love By Chloe, and in this part of town, By Chloe is more than just good vegan food, it's a sanctuary! They have food all day long from breakfast to dinner, so stop in if you need to satisfy your eating and drinking vegan needs. I love that By Chloe marks the menu with what you need to know, even though you know it's all vegan.

Anyhow, I went here twice in one day, and I was very happy. Breakfast included some almond butter and banana toast as well as some chia seed pudding. Later on, came back for some kale salad, gluten free Mac and cheese, some gluten free chocolate cupcake, some chocolate chip gluten free cookies and some French fries. Love the beet sauce for the fries and the texture and flavor of the cookies and cupcake. Well done all around. I could've ordered 10 more things and eaten them all. SO good!
The space here is huge, and I wonder why they don't have more tables. It fills up as the day goes by, as there is free wi-fi. There's a nice little to-go area of food you grab and pay for and go. This is a huge space, and I hope they are successful for years and years to come. Great to have this By Chloe here!

Ordered oh so fancy fries and the mac and cheese both were really disappointing. The fries are really thin so some fries were too crispy like a cracker and some were soggy and cold and really oily from the spicy seitan chorizo but the chipotle aioli and whiskey onions on top were tasty. If the fries were thicker and hot then it would have been better. The mac and cheese didn’t have much flavour and the mushrooms to me had a really unpleasant taste.

This was amazing. I read good reviews and decided to give it a try because it’s almost the only vegan fast food in Times Square. When ordering on the monitors, everything looked a little pricey and small. We got our good and I was right, however the FOOD WAS AMAZING. They really know how to make vegan food. We have eaten at by Chloe many times and always have a great meal. We have tried several of the burgers and salads and all were delicious. Their roasted Brussels Sprouts was a treat! Yummy sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo or beet ketchup!

Like McDonalds--just a million times better. Fast (relatively) vegan food--though you will have a bit of a wait, and the food is not that cheap (good food never is). This chain eatery on the south side of Rockefeller Center, on 48th Street off Fifth. There are a lot of tourists crowding in here, but if you bring a cell phone, you can walk around the area while they prepare the food, and they can text you when your food is ready.

Overpriced food. Two small pieces of toasts with banana and butter was over 10 dollars. Even when it’s in the center of New York, the area and the workers are nice, it isn’t worth it.

This place has a nice atmosphere but I wouldn't come back. The BLT was mostly deconstructed, the toast and 'bacon' were rock hard, the sauce was missing. It was bad food that happened to be vegan.

I've eaten at By Chloe at Rockefeller Plaza a few times and overall my experiences were positive. Some of the menu items(Mac N' Cheese for example) were a bit lacking, but others I enjoyed(Sunrise breakfast burrito). I didn't love the baked goods I tried, but I'm not much of a sweets person. They have so much to choose from and it's the kind of place you can go to for any meal.
Read moreI actually liked the beet ketchup, but some people might not be satisfied that they don't have tomato ketchup. They chipotle aioli was great too IMO. I'm not going to hold the disposable plates and utensils against them; it's fast food. They do not accept cash.
Everything there is not great, but it's the kind of place where you come back and order the things you enjoyed after you figure it out. I will go back. It's 100% vegan and there are still a lot of things on the menu I have yet to try. I'd give them a 3.5/5 if I could.

Cons: A little pricey, but that's expected in Manhattan, Slightly underwhelming flavor on some items
