Delicious food and relaxing athmosphere in Swayambu - Edit
We stayed a whole month in Swayambu and visited Basuri several times during november with a lot of friends from all over the world. We just went back every time because the food was home made, fresh, delicious, lots of choice also for veggies and vegans... The place is so nice because there is no street noise and you can choose a cozy corner to sit in, inside or outside. The staff is just amazing: helpfull, patient, funny... We loved the place and will make a detour to go back there whenever we can!

Read moreStaff can tell you what is veggie and vegan. I enjoyed a fried rice and peanut sadeko (spicy peanut salad). I mixed the sadeko into the fried rice which definitely jazzed it up!
The momos are veggie not vegan as they contain paneer (my partner loved them!)

this place is not only no longer veg, it is now more of a hookah bar than a restaurant, unfortunately. please delete it from h.c., na? i walked a long way to get here and am severely disappointed. :/

Calm and peaceful garden. They have a vegan breakfast menu. Waiter understand vegan so you can ask for the other dishes.
