What a delectable find!

I went for the Swayambu hike just to try out this restaurant! To say this is a fantastic, healthy and delicious find is an understatement! Highly recommend!

High Vibe Nurishment

Who wouldn’t want a shot of fresh veg or fruit juice and maybe a quick snack meal with so many flavors of rotis and maybe rainbow momos? I couldn’t resistant as I was just going to check it out but ended having 2 shots of beet & radish juice. WOW, these are 120% pure shots, tasted epic strong. 😆 One of the best ways to break my dry fast. I also had a small millet momo for take out. Did I say the prices are very affordable to Nepalese standards btw!? Amazing high vibe place to raise your vibrational frequency within mins! Must visit! 🤩 #Veganuary

A very special place

Outstanding vegan food! Tasty momos. The level of spiciness was just right. The sauces were very tasty. I didn’t try roti but will do next time

A very nutritious menu

This place is like a very nutritious oasis for vegans. Lots of different fresh ingredients. They actually use millet, flax seeds and vegetables here, unlike most other places. I’m definitely planning to return here as I find myself craving for this kind of food

Great after Swayambhu

This is a good option to visit after seeing Swayambhu stupa in Kathmandu😄the food is really inexpensive and tastes great. They really pay attention to serving healthy and wholesome food, which is also nice. We had the mix momo (pretty spicy), a roti set and two energy balls. If you are in the area, you should consider to check this place out!

Pros: All vegan and healthy, Close to swayambhu temple, Low prices

Cons: Momos were a little too spicy

Amazing Food- Not Just Vegan, but HEALTHIEST In Kathmandu!

This is idealist small restaurant governed with missionary spirit.

We found millet and whole wheat momo only at this place In Kathmandu, whereas usually it is prepared in white, processed flour, which is not healthy at all. And fresh vegetable juices!

They truly believe and practice “thy food is thy medicine”.

Salutes to the spirit and service.

Rainbow momo

Everything made to order. The mixed momo has different doughs, each with their own flavour, but the filling is the same. The filling was way to spicy for me personally (I forgot to say not spicy) and it hurt my stomach after, but the flavors were great. One sauce is also spicy.

The staff is very careful about allergens if you mention foods you can’t eat. One of the momo sauces has peanuts, but they were happy to sub for sesame, which again they asked about before making.

The yogurt base is coconut, in case anyone is wondering.

Update: I did get food poisoning from the Momo not being steamed/cooked all the way through. 😵‍💫Make sure they cook it well. I would even prefer boiled to be safe.

Sadly, I actually think I got food poisoning from there. I thought the spiciness hurt my stomach, but I remember thinking it wasn’t cooked all the way through and today- 💀. It was the only thing I ate yesterday. Ughhh so sad.

BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT IN KATHMANDUUU AND CHEAP !!!

Sat Saheb is truly one of the most amazing vegan places I've tried during my travels. They are fully vegan and I tried almost everything in their menu! There's a full scope of options for juices( from beet juice to any kind of vegetable juice, to mixed fruit juice) all natural, fresh, and organic, made on the spot. The prices are soooo cheap for the amount of food and there's a lot of variety in the options. I loved their mushroom filled momos with doughs made of different vegetables. Their roti sets were amazing and only 160 rps, or 130rps if it was the day of the week corresponding to the specific roti set. The ABC juice is the best, totally recommend. The protein balls are actually heavy! And the protein bowl is very good, but also a lot of food if you ask for the big portion! Honestly, the portions are amazing for the prices. If you go to Buddha Park, monkey temple, Buddha Stupa, or Swayambhunath area, STOP BY!!

Pros: So many vegan options and very cheap, They serve the food in dry dishes and cups, They use mineral water for all cooking

Thanks for your review. I'm going to KTM in late February 2023. Never been to Nepal, many times to India in the 1990s (mostly Tamil Nadu and Kerala, a few times in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh) I'm glad to see that many more people are going vegan in both countries.
