Went here today after reading the reviews saying store uses vegan mayo. As someone who is severely allergic to both milk and eggs I can say with certainty that this bahn mi is not vegan. Had a reaction almost immediately, even after explaining the allergies to the lady who said it was ok. Potentially cross contamination but more likely that the mayo is not vegan given how quickly the reaction came on.

Was it decent for 20k? Sure. Is it handy to have Vegan options at a Banh Mi stand? Definitely. But I can't help feel these Banh Mi stands in different cities are incredibly overhyped. It was good, but not close to many others I've tried.

Not a shop, but a food cart next to River Prince Hotel. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Vegan food with a vegetarian option. (She puts an egg in your banh mi (sandwich), only if you request it).

Of all the Banh Mis I have had so far, the fillings in this stall were the best ones. I think one kind of the faux meat was out of seitan but I honestly have no idea. The Banh Mis are not the biggest in size but she only wants 15k for them so no complaints.

As a per the title. Easy to miss but lady is a legend and makes a bahn mi quicker than you've ever seen. No seating but she'll put some cardboard down for you by the ATM. At 15k each you honestly can't go wrong (I ate four). You must swing by if in Da Lat.

Best vegan banh mi! - Edit
Best vegan banh mi we have had! Will be going back tomorrow. I think it’s tofu and some other meat replacements. Good bread & other toppings too. She also has egg available. Make sure to say no egg if you want. I didn’t realize she was asking if we wanted egg on the next round we ordered. Cannot speak to allergies as I’m not THAT careful about small milk/butter additives although I definitely avoid when possible.
