One of my favorite restaurants in Greece!! Food is lovely and you can peacefully eat outside. I really recommend. Lots of vegan or vegetarian options.

Fantastic place to sit outside and watch the world go by in old Corfu Town. Nice selection of vegetarian and vegan food, which is often sadly lacking in this part of the world.

Such a relaxing place to sit - beautiful setting to eat great food. We had 2x avocado on toast with mushrooms, fresh orange juice and coffee with almond milk (breakfast time visit). Menu is all veggie / vegan. Lots of vegan options clearly marked. They did some toast with homemade jam for our young daughter too.

Read moreMeals were rather expensive, considering the quality and the portion size. Musaka was too "heavy" and bland, it tasted like there wasn't much more than pastry. Gnocchi with cashew cream - I thought it would include some cashew, but it was only the sauce. Vegetarian gyros - fine.
Nice seating area. We were there twice, the second time they told us they were closed, even though they should be open. There were no people except us, so I think they just wanted to close earlier :/

The staff were very friendly and we got the soy burger which was nice. Different items being listed on the sandwich board outside the cafe to the paper menu could cause some confusion.

I had mushroom gyros: pita on the bottom, gyros in the center, some slices of fresh cucumber and tomato, really nice potatoes and hummus.

Portions rather small, but tasty. Moussaka available. Gyros are made of mushrooms, nothing for those who don’t like mushrooms.

Aubergine Cafe is a vegetarian restaurant with a lot of vegan options. We had a vegan gyros made out of mushrooms which is something you won't get everywhere. The vegan burger was good, but nothing special.

Altough they had many many vegan options, we were not lucky with the ones we picked.
Read moreWe ordered the stuffed aurbergine, that came with boiled potatoes. No taste, no seasoning, bad texture - cheewy/rubbery.
We also ordered the vegan gyros, which was basically grilled mushrooms - also, no seasoning.
The okayest option was the roasted veggies starter - good.
The worst part was they took 30-40 minutes to start bringing these not impressive courses.
Do not recommend, there are other better vegan options in town.

Don’t agree with the small portion comments. We were both very happy. Staff were attentive, food did take slightly longer than I expected. But worth the wait.

The vegan Moussaka was great and the restaurant has a really nice outdoor seating area. My boyfriend had a small vegan starter plate, which was really small for the price.

We visited this cafe for lunch as it had plenty of vegan options including starters, mains and desserts. The moussaka was great!! You can sit inside or outside with a lovely view of the town and green space around.

Read moreI had a so-called large Greek platter, which was tasty, but rather small. The portion of the hummus was very small. My friend ate a vegan burger. To make it gluten-free, they removed the bun and kindly added one more soy patty. It would have been nice to add some sauce or more veggies to the burger as it was rather dry.
