Beware of spice - Edit
I’m not familiar with S. African cuisine so this was really interesting! I got the vegan bunny chow. Very very flavorful but also very spicy to me (I’d rate the curry alone as a higher 4 on the Thai spice scale, though it’s a bit more manageable with the bread/hummus). Good value for your money and staff seemed knowledgeable on vegan options. Clearly labeled menu

Daughter w/ allergies sent to ED - Edit
We were told that there was no milk in the JULIET'S BITZ & GLITZ. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy and started breaking out in hives! We rushed out and brought her to the local Children’s ED to get checked out. I wrote a complaint online and the owner reached out and confirmed there was milk in the dish.

Fantastic food. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff. Tastes so good. Such a clean place. Fast service. Gender free bathrooms. Small patio. Fun music. I only wish I lived closer.

Staff at location displayed excellent Customer Service! The Vegan sandwich is called Rising Son with your choice of Zunzi’s sauces. I like spicy so I went with the Sh*t-Yea and Oh-Sh*t sauce.

I was intrigued by the opportunity to try South African vegan fare, and I wasn’t disappointed! There are vegan options featuring veggies, vegan sauces and Beyond Meat. I tried a sub sandwich with avocado, portobellos, etc. and added Beyond Meat that was seasoned with spices. Very tasty! I would totally eat at Zunzi’s again. Super nice people and very helpful!
