Good food at the Grote Markt - Edit
The restaurant is located on the Grote Markt, one of the busy places to eat or drink. As such it's great for being 100% vegan. I went here with two friends, who had the mushroom rendang. I had a roasted cauliflower, and it was big! They also have a sufficient drink menu. Order at the bar. Has a sign that flex workers are welcome.

Supervriendelijke mensen en heerlijk eten. - Edit
We waren er op een zaterdagavond. Buiten op het gezellige terras gezeten met live muziek. Alle medewerkers waren supervriendelijk. Heerlijk gegeten. We hadden de oesterzwammen rendang en de bloemkool met relish. Als toetje een brownie met kokosslagroom.

Inmiddels is de hele kaart hier veganistisch. Ik had de avocado toast met nori en sesamzaad; dit was een goede smaakcombinatie. Wel was de toast erg droog en wat smakeloos. De kaart heeft ook nog tal van andere opties; ik kom er zeker nog eens terug.

Via HappyCow zijn een goede vriendin en ik hier terecht gekomen. Was heerlijk. Ik had het kapsalon genomen en zij de pad Thai. Je kon zelfs kiezen of je met stokjes of bestek at dat was een leuke extra. Eveneens was het een gezellig terras.

I understand sometimes staff have bad days, but when I entered the restaurant during stated open hours yesterday, said hello and asked politely for a menu, I was treated unkindly and like a nuisance. The staff member seemed very frustrated that I was there, and said they wouldn’t be serving anyone “for a while”, and she then recommended a restaurant at the end of the block that she said was open. I went there and they were open, but they didn’t have even one vegan option and a very meat heavy menu, I’m wondering if she did it deliberately because she seemed mad I was there? It just seems a bit odd that someone working in a vegan restaurant would recommend that.

Great menu - I remember a time I couldn’t eat anything at the Grote Markt at all! I personally love it that they are not too heavy on the fake meat or classic vegan ‘healthy’ options. Just feels like normal bar food, but then vegan!

Gezellig op het grote terras! - Edit
Sitting on a large terrace on a plaza like the Grote Markt in the Hague is a part of Dutch culture. Since going vegan, I thought I might not really be able to enjoy this experience with much more than a soda (which isn't quite the same). Thanks to Zeta, now "100% plant based" according to their menu, we could drink, have snacks and a meal in this "gezellig" setting. We had nachos (upon the recommendation of previous reviewers), pad thai and a carrot cake for dessert. Everything was good quality, fresh and tasty. As someone else mentioned, it would be nice if they had table service, but it really isn't too much of a bother to order at the bar - at least then you don't have to sit around until wait staff notice you or have the time to come take your order.
