very tasty

it's a traditional bakery so they still make the dough by themselves, bake at place etc. ingredients are organic so of course it's more expensive than baked goods from the supermarket but in my opinion still worth the price.
they do have many vegan options such as cinnamon rolls, focaccia, sandwiches and most normal breads. however, many of the sweet baked goods (eg some of the cinnamon rolls) are not vegan even though I think it'd be super easy to veganise. hopefully, they'll update their recipes in the eight direction.

i personally adore the schoko-nuss-baba and the focaccia is delicious as well

Pros: traditional bakery making things themselves, organic, vegan well labelled, tasty vegan options, oat milk without surcharge, reusable cups (recup)

Cons: could easily go fully vegan but doesn't

New organic bakery in the Old town

The second branch in Düsseldorf opened this week in a great location—right in the heart of the shopping mile in the Old town—featuring a spacious outdoor terrace and a couple of indoor tables. Almost all of the breads are vegan, and there are also some clearly labelled vegan savoury and sweet baked goods. Everything is Bioland-certified, so prices are a bit higher than average. The oat milk comes from Natumi.

The almond marble with marzipan was delicious—fluffy, moist, and not too sweet. The chocolate baba was slightly drier but still tasty. It’s a big plus that they offer iced coffee and matcha latte, perfect for enjoying outdoors. The focaccia, “Dinkelstangen”, and even the Bircher muesli also looked very appealing—I'll definitely be back to try them.
