Simple eatery offering typical Taiwanese food including yang chun noodles, sesame noodles, braised rice, and soups. Menu is in Chinese. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
Generous portions but watch out for eggs in the noodles - Edit
This is one of the only vegetarian places that are open in the afternoon between the lunch and dinner shifts. I asked for a dry noodle with mock chicken and asked for no egg. She was a bit confused about which noodles contain eggs - the one she showed me that she usually uses contains egg, and then she pointed to another thicker noodle that also contains egg. Finally, she went to the fridge and pulled out a fresh noodle that didn’t contain any egg. It was very delicious and chewy, and the portion size was quite generous even though I ordered a small portion. Excellent food, you just need to know your noodles very well because she certainly doesn’t know which ones are egg-free!
Wasn't sure what to order so just went for special rice. Rice was warm, everything else wasn't, was a mix. Tasted ok, guess I was expecting fried rice but I've realised that best to ask what do they suggest to find out what they do best.
