Great for vegans…

…and for gluten free. This place has a dedicated veggie/vegan section on its menu (vegan meatballs/lodge and tofu kebab are delicious) and also prides itself on catering for gluten-free diets. My (coeliac) wife had a vegan gluten free pizza the first time we went. They also made her some small scone-like breads so she could enjoy the humus. They really cared that they were doing it all right for us. Highly recommended.

Pros: Service, Care, Dietary considerations

Seitan kebab

The host and owner didn't fully understand what vegan was, and confused it with vegetarian.

They tried to argue with us that vegan people normally eat the yoghurt, cheese and egg. The host also said, albeit in a nice way, that coming to Turkey while vegan is not a good thing to do.

Seitan kebab (called tofu kebab on menu) was good, although lacking in side salads etc.

Pricey, ~700 lira for all vegan dishes.

Pros: Seitan kebab

Cons: Pricey

Unlike any other options in Dalyan

I was really surprised by Yener’s Place. They served tofu kebab and vegan köfte, options we didn’t see anywhere else in Dalyan.

The food was delicious and it was nice to find a place that served food like this as well as meat options as we were with wider family.

Pros: Different sorts of options , Delicious food

Cons: Slightly expensive compared to other places
