Egal ob Buffet oder à la carte – das Essen im Xu’s Cooking in der Kaiserstraße ist durchgehend top. Besonders empfehlenswert ist es für alle, die vegane Ersatzprodukte mögen: Auswahl und Qualität überzeugen jedes Mal. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auch Bestellungen zum Abholen funktionieren immer reibungslos. Wer unschlüssig ist, sollte unbedingt das Menü für 1 oder 2 Personen probieren – mit Suppe, Frühlingsrollen, Krautsalat, Hauptspeise und Dessert bekommt man einen perfekten Überblick und wird garantiert satt.

Es gabe das verboten gute "Huhn" mit Gemüse und gebratenem Reis, gebackenes "Huhn" mit gebratenen Nudeln, Wan Tan gebacken und "Hähnchen"keulen.
Alles in allem war es Traum! Tolles Essen und tolle, herzliche Mitarbeiter. ❤️
Ebenso haben wir noch nie so liebe Kellner gehabt.
Schade, dass wir nicht in Wien wohnen. 😭

My friends and I had dinner here and enjoyed all of it. A majority of the menu is vegan, and the vegetarian dishes are clearly marked. Everything was very flavorful and a good balance of veggies with the mock meat. The fried crispy veggies balls with peanuts appetizer was a great treat. The staff were very kind and gave us some free little desserts after our meal. The one thing to watch for is to say how much rice you want, they brought us a dish per person which was much too much for us and you do pay per portion.

„Standard“ Asian restaurant but make it vegan - Edit
They have almost every dish on the menu that you would find in a typical Chinese buffet-style-restaurant, but almost everything is vegan (except for some egg-dishes). We loved all the food and it was pretty cheap as well. What really stood out was the lovely staff who didn‘t stop handing out free food (free desserts, soda, aloe vera juice and mochi). I‘ll definitely come again!

Seit Jahren ist es mein Stammlokal. Excelentes Essen, tolle Bedienung und ruhiges Ambiente. Auch meine Omni-Freunde sind jedesmal begeistert. Mein Lieblingsgerichte: "Wasserspinat mit Rind" und die Hühnersuppe mit Pilzen als Vorspeise.

I'm a sucker for a buffet and this one was great! Only 15 euros, and lots of different dishes, mostly vegan (non-vegan are clearly labeled). I really enjoyed the variety of different proteins. It wasn't THE most high quality meal, but I wouldn't expect that for a lunch buffet.

Il locale è interamente vegetariano/vegano. Dall’esterno può sembrare trasandato ma all’interno è molto curato, un vero locale autentico orientale, con personale gentilissimo e prezzi onesti. Una vera perla nascosta. La scelta è davvero molto ampia, i piatti sono gustosi ed autentici e le porzioni sono enormi! Ci hanno anche offerto una bevanda all’aloe vera come fine cena davvero meravigliosa!

Mittlerweile mehrmals zum Mittagsbuffet gekommen. Beim ersten Mal war ich spät dran und wollte mir nur hastig was vom Buffet holen, aber die Besitzerin hat mir sofort gedeutet, dass ich mir keinen Stress machen soll. Dann wurde mir noch was zum mitnehmen eingepackt. Absolut top freundlich und nett. Essen war solides Buffet. Ala carte muss ich erst probieren, kommt aber sicher noch.

Wir waren Abends essen - nicht beim Buffet- die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut, keine Fertigprodukte. Das sweet&sour "chicken" hat es mir so angetan... ich träume seit dem jeden Tag davon 💚 mein Freund hatte das vegane Salzchicken oder sowas !? War auch gut! Wir haben dann noch Nachspeisen und wie üblich Pflaumenwein bekommen. Ich fand Preis/Leistung top!

Read moreThere are just way better vegan asian restaurants in Vienna, even one doing almost the same dishes just better (e.g. Tau Vegan in 1220).
Everything here tasted like it was drenched in the same old oil and deep fried (even the noodles) and the "meat" had a weird smokey taste that does not fit the cuisine at all (tried special Chicken and fried Duck)
Staff was friendly and quick, the interior is like a typical old Chinese restaurant in Austria, not very appealing.

I was impressed by the buffet. Although it is comparatively small, it offers everything you need. The quality of the food is far better than at other buffets I've visited, and the taste is impressive across the board. All but three dishes were vegan, which I find very commendable. Particularly worth mentioning is the extremely friendly waitress, who looked after us wonderfully. The price-performance ratio is right.

Restaurant has a traditional yet cozy vibe, very spacious on the inside and calm outdoor seating area, staff was very nice, guests seem to be mostly locals. A la carte prices seem a bit steep for the dishes, but I think the buffet gives you a good taste in all kinds of Asian/buddhist cuisine mock meats (the "ribs" and breaded cutlets were my faves). Almost all dishes and items were vegan, the vegetarian stuff was marked with a star. Flavours and seasoning were well balanced, loads of veggies, and I believe the food here is healthier than at other Asian/Chinese restaurants.

Read moreDie Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Ich erhalte JEDES Mal eine Nachspeise und ein Getränk (meist Aloe vera Saft) vor dem bezahlen um sonst.
Zur Mittagszeit habe ich auch schon oft etwas vom Buffet abgepackt und gratis mitbekommen, wenn es kurz vorm zusperren war.

Nice place for Vegan Asian Food. We tried the (All You Can Eat) Buffet and it was pretty good; mostly vegan, the vegetarian options were clearly marked, and the waitress was very friendly and super helpful. The price was also very fair.

I wish they had a location where I live!! This is a great option for people with allergies since all the allergens are listed. The waitress was very friendly and brought us aloe water for free! We got veggie noodles and a tofu dish. Everything was delicious. Definitely our favorite meal in Vienna!

I had a great time at xu’s! But I didn’t realize they were only cash, and I didn’t have any cash on me nor my international debit card was somehow working! After a bit of a panic there, the waiter was extremely calm and helpful and let me do an online transfer! I’m thankful she was so chill.
