Okay

Ein optisch schönes und großes Café. Der Kaffee war gut. Der Service war schnell und aufmerksam. Ich muss aber dazu sagen, dass ich Mittags dort war. Zu dem Zeitpunkt ist es anscheinend eher leer. Das Essen (Kleinigkeit Mittagstisch) war okay. Die Suppe hat mich nicht überzeugt dort mittags erneut zu essen.

Im Somme gibt es draußen ebenfalls reichlich Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Vegane Optionen möglich. Die Auswahl ist aber begrenzt.

Open and bright location, served fast

I liked the atmosphere. The Schnitzel and the potato salad were very tasty. I will come back during my next visit.

Pros: Spacious, Different seating ootions, Potato salad

Cons: Desserts?

They don’t understand what vegan is

We ordered the vegan schnitzel. They told us it came with fries, which we like. When the fries came we noticed cheese on it and asked if it was vegan cheese, just to be sure. The cheese was not vegan and the waitress was very rude about it. We tried te explain that we think it is a bit weird te serve cheese when we ask for a vegan meal. After explaining this she reluctantly gave us new fries without cheese.

Tasty but not that many options

There are vegan options marked on the menu, unfortunately there are not many options.
I tried the vegan schnitzel and the pumpkin salad (Kür mit Biss) and the vegan pumpkin soup which were tasty!

not worth the visit

Chain restaurant, very big, very unpersonal. pushy staff, doesn't give you time to look at the menu. Menu mentions some vegan options, but only available choice in the morning was a hot chocolate. Very sweet, very expensive. What a dissapointment. We only choose this one because a fully vegan cafe in the neighborhood was closed.
This is not worth your visit. Lots of other choices in Köln.

Cons: pushy staff, pricy, mentions vegan, but only partly available
