My sister and I booked an afternoon tea experience for our mom’s 60th birthday. The staff was great as well as the tea and food! We were there during the cherry blossom festival so they opened up their hours an extra day on a Thursday, which worked out perfectly for us. I also was able to specify vegan. They had set up the table with three vegan menus but my mom and sister are not vegan and they were able to accommodate a regular menu for them with no issues. You do need to note dietary preferences and special occasions while booking it or a few days prior to your reservation. They also had a lady playing the harp and brought out all of the birthday celebrations (there were a lot😂) at the same time while the harpist played happy birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back again for a special occasion! Also if you drive to the hotel, you can pull up to valet parking and they will validate the parking for you with your tea service!
Read moreThe only issues I had was in scheduling I had a question and had a hard time reaching someone from the tea room and had to try multiple times. Also, do not confuse this with the Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria!
