Fun chocolate experience with good vegan options - Edit
The Chocolatier Experience at the Wellington Chocolate Factory was so much fun! My daughter and I got to temper our own chocolate and then make 3 bars each with our own flavour combinations, hear a short talk about how the chocolate is grown and made, and then wrap our chocolate bars to take home. They have a delicious dark chocolate as the vegan option and nearly all the toppings were vegan. They also made the most decadent rich vegan oat hot chocolate to enjoy during the talk. The only part of the tour that was limited was that 2 of the 3 tasting samples during the talk were not vegan, but this was such a small part of the tour that it didn’t limit our enjoyment (and we just ate more of the coconut mylk chocolate taster!). Highly recommend as a fun interactive activity particularly if you have children, although it was great for the adults too.
Read morePros: Very vegan friendly, Fun for kids, Fast paced and interactive
Cons: Not all toppings and tasters are vegan, Only dark chocolate vegan option for making bars

Vegan chocolate that heals your soul - Edit
The coconut mylk chocolate is my favourite chocolate in the world, such good flavours and plenty of vegan options. For my mums birthday we did the chocolate making class and it was delightful, delicious and affordable.

Warning! Too delicious chocolate - Edit
In a small side street you find this beautiful old building with a great choice of chocolate. Not many of their flavours are vegan, but when you taste them (free tasting!) you are forever lost! At least the price of the 75g bars prevented me from buying more than one of my favourite!

I loved the passionate knowledge of the cocoa beans and every product in the store by the owner.

The vegan chocolate chip biscuit was so fresh and delicious. And the Anzac Chocolate bar is equally yummy.
Pros: Situated right in town, with plenty of cafe's near, Hot chocolates made on site with real chocolate

Super decadent - Edit
Although not all vegan the staff are SUPER knowledgable about what is and isn't vegan. Their personal recommendations are always good to try and they have vegan friendly samples which is good. Just wish they didn't charge extra for dairy free milk

Delicious! - Edit
Very pleased to find vegan chocolates that taste great! Great stuff, excellent tour, great product. If you're in Welllington go check them out. Not only do the make almost all their chocolates vegan, but they keep the machines clean and separate from each other. Chocolates, tours, hot chocolate and milkshakes, YUM!

Cons: On the pricey side, Not a fan of coconut whip cream
