Even the vegetarian plate isn't vegetarian - Edit
I went here and asked which dishes were vegan. The server didn't seem to understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian and asked the chef to come out. I asked her for any vegetarian dishes without egg and dairy and she told me that they all had either shrimp paste or fish sauce in them. I told her that vegetarians also don't eat fish products. My final question was: "So you don't have anything vegetarian either?" and she replied "No" despite clearly offering vegetarian options on the menu and presumably serving animal products to vegetarians and vegans for years now.
Read moreEven if she truly didn't understand that fish products aren't vegetarian, as an owner of a business that serves food, it is her responsibility to find out. There are people with fish and seafood allergies that could be affected too.

I would recommend this place! - Edit
I have eaten a very delicious sandwich with tahu ketjap, veggies and vegan sriracha here. The staff was helpful when I asked questions to confirm which food was and wasn´t vegan. Beware, the tahu pedes has shrimp paste in it. Not sure about the tempeh since I can´t eat that.

Fijne plek! - Edit
Altijd een fijne sfeer bij Warung Pojok Sari. Heerlijke indonesische gerechten die je ook ter plekke kan nuttigen met gezelschap. Ideaal dat het zo dicht bij het station zit. Hebben ook heerlijke broodjes tofu/tempeh.
