Accueil très chaleureux, plats délicieux et surprenants de l'entrée au dessert. Accord mets et vins à la perfection. Si je pouvais mettre une étoile de plus, je le ferai !

if you like a posh ambience - Edit
Vrindaa is an upscale all vegan restaurant with ayurvedic cuisine, therefore they e.g. don’t use garlic or onions in their dishes (ingredients I use every day 😅).
Read moreWe wanted to check it out. Reservation required.
The ambience is nice and elegant, a little too posh for my taste, with many golden elements.
We were welcomed friendly, but the atmosphere can definitely be a little stiff in that kind of restaurants.
Obviously the dishes are higher in price, we had the „bomb explosive“-starter, which definitely was the most extraordinary course of the menu, my starter with fermented cashews was very yummy.
Our mains, both pasta dishes, were enjoyable, but we didn’t really get the vibe of a 23€-dish here.
I noticed, that on one hand they very much take care of details, which is nice, but on the other hand, there have been spots on the water bottle and the faucet on the toilet was loose (which shouldn’t be the case in a restaurant with this level in my opinion -> trained many years in upscale gastronomy and hotel business myself)
All in all we had 5 dishes and a bottle of water and paid around 117€.
I was generous with the tip, realizing afterwards that the table charge alone is around 4€.

two out of 3 dishes really exquisite - Edit
The dish with cashew cheese and mango sauce and the pasta dish were both really exquisite. The eggplant dish however I didn't like at all.

Expect the Unexpected is Right! - Edit
I’ve gone to many vegan restaurants and thought their tagline was just for those who maybe aren’t familiar with vegan cuisine and might be pleasantly surprised. I was wrong: the brilliant creativity at Vrindaa left me so excited I asked for a reservation the very next night.

Has their own natural wine, is incredibly kind and a lovely atmosphere with artistic flair in every choice well beyond the cuisine from dishware to plating. Don’t miss this.
Pros: Creative and delicious courses, Pre fixe options and wine pairings, Knowledgeable and kind service

Torno sempre volentieri.

It's an experience! - Edit
Vrindaa is not just about the food, its a more wholistic experience. Everything from the ambience to the plating chosen to serve each dish is mindful and intentional. We ordered from the a la carte and while we enjoyed all the dishes our favorite was "Snow on the Mountain" - highly highly recommend it!

The Best Vegan Food You'll Eat In Rome - Edit
Quite simply some of the best food I've ever had. I have been to a few vegan fine dining restaurants at a similar price point and none of them managed to strike the balance between refined and decadent quite like Vrindaa does.
Read moreThere are no salads here, every dish manages to make you question the ingredients while being a luxurious and moreish. The raspberry cream pasta is probably the best example of this. Deliciously rich, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented and complex.
The service and attention to detail are on another level as well. The owner was serving us himself and you can tell this restaurant is his magnum opus. Every detail is considered, they produce their own ingredients, make their own wine and elements of dishes you'd expect to be prepped are made fresh (they must have a very skilled big team of chefs). They never overload you with information if you don't want it but are so knowledgable and passionate about every dish if you ask. Also, everything is taken care of without asking seamlessly. Honestly, I rarely enjoy the intimate service of fine dining but the staff managed to really elevate the whole experience.
If you're considering booking just do it.

Fusion vegan dishes - Edit
I like that the dishes had an asian/indian taste touch. You absolutely have to make a reservation. We didn't but they still kindly let us eat there for an hour and a half which was enough. The staffs are kind, patient and very caring. I was not feeling so well and he proposed to turn off the air conditioning. Dishes were really good. It may seems like the portions are smalls but the nutrients are there and it will make you full. If you are into fusion cuisine, you should definitely try this place out.

Best vegan fine dining - Edit
I’m so glad I found Vrindaa recently during my stay in Rome as I was looking for vegan fine dining, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. It is close to Villa Borghese and it is beautifully decorated. The menu is extensive and their vegan wines are also excellent. Out of all the fine dining restaurants I’ve visited in several countries, Vrindaa is definitely the best. The food is fresh, made of good quality ingredients and prepared in a way that enhances the flavors. Difficult to describe the taste of the excellent food I tried - and will continue to try during my stay - so you should visit them and I’m sure you will be very pleased with both the tasty food and friendly and efficient service.

All vegan and exceptional service! - Edit
We enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu and were blown away! The eggplant dish was our favorite. We loved getting to learn about the farm where much of the food is grown and where their wine comes from. Very cool atmosphere and the service was incredible! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice restaurant for a special occasion!

So overrated - Edit
We first went for lunch because it was so well rated on HappyCow - everyone seemed to have enjoyed the place so much. Although, when we arrived the place was completely empty. It felt weird so we left, thinking we should come back at night for a bit more ambiance. So this is what we did tonight. only two people were there other than us, still felt weird but we decided to stay to give it a chance. I’m sad we did. It was such an underwhelming experience. The food was good but nothing was through the roof, it was quite expensive, portions were small and the maître d had a bad vibe (sighed at our questions, couldn’t answer them, and seemed condescendingly disappointed when we didn’t order more stuff). Seriously, nothing to see there. I can’t imagine someone paying 119 euros per person for the tasting menu, it would feel like a scam.

I’m the regular customer of Vrindaa and this is one of the best cuisine in our city so i think you came here to see other clients not the food and their phenomenon creativity. They are doing so much better than other restaurant and it’s not a regular random restaurant, you must know before how they work, Cheap thinker🤌🏻🫠

I’ve never seen fine dining with a broken sink in the bathroom, dirty walls, cheap looking deco, paper cloth, cardboard glass covers. The food was good but they have to deliver on all aspects to charge these prices.

Hi Rose, we usually don't respond who has no sense of what about a fine dining mean or high quality cuisine !!! Have you ever been into it ??? we just checked your profile & realized you used to visit those places where you eat with unlimited quantity not the quality, you need to think what you are eating though you don't think (I don't disrespecting any other restaurants) so according to my opinion you only visit that kind of place where you find bunch of people gathering with obviously junk food cuisine so generally when you entered a fine dining restaurant with relaxing posh ambience you cannot find anything what you expect for! My boy told me you came for the lunch time, you sat, you saw the menu then went? so if you do not convince yourself then why you came back, makes no sense. You spend only 87€ including starter, 2 first course, salad, water, table charge so it's a normal price, we don't understand what's your exact problem? the price, ambience or waiter??? The good quality food needs to pay not just eat and go, fine dining means feel the experience but unfortunately we hosted wrong guy like you. We have surveillance camera so we checked everything before to respond you clear. My personal request to you please don't "LIE" which is not exist. NOTE : 1) Out washroom were enough clean & well systematized, we check every 20 minuets & the wall's original design was that not obviously dirty that's called the DESIGN, 2) that was not paper cloth, that's called ECO RISE cloths (I am sure you won't know this coz otherwise you couldn't write this) which is aims to utilize sustainable resources. It has biodegradability and can compost under industrial compost conditions. It has obtained OK compost INDUSTRIAL certification so I can see you need study a lot for being pure 100% vegan. 3) the cover of the glass was customized even 80% products material we customize from our own designer even the cutlery, glasses, plates, lights etc so you expected diamond glass cover or what ?? what you had please try to be happy hope you got the point. We checked the camera that you constantly was saying to my boys that you need big portion though our portion is well enough so my question is when you choose a restaurant, you choose only for giant portion, too look other people, making nonsensical comments after receiving well treat, telling lie which is never existed? Finally you don't deserve our creativity, please do not even expect to come again.

Kreative vegane Küche - Edit
Kreative Fusion Gerichte, pflanzenbasiert, in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Sogar Reste der Speisen wurden to-go eingepackt. Als Überraschung durfte ich eine Kugel des leckeren selbstgemachten Eis probieren. Gerne werde ich beim nächsten Rombesuch wiederkommen! Dankeschön

Very Fine Dining! - Edit
Man, where to start. My experience at Vrindaa was top notch. I was going back and forth on whether to get the 10-course meal or not and I decided not to.
Read moreI started off, of course with a glass of red wine. All of their wine is certified organic. I then ordered two appetizers: Snow on the mountain and the forbidden city. Both were amazing! I liked the first one more which consisted of homemade cashew cheese, which was amazing, and potato balls with delicious sauces. The second appetizer, The Forbidden City, was a roasted eggplant with great accompaniments.
For my main course I ordered the Walk In The woods (I believe). This tasted great as well and was an excellent choice by my waiter who essentially, I let select all of my dishes.
To end the meal, they brought out complimentary ice cream which I believe they said was made in house.
Last but certainly not least, I was given a book as a thank you for dining with them. Never have I experienced such a thing and was more than grateful.
Fine dining at its finest!
