Everything was perfect. The pizzas and the dessert were really good and the staff really friendly! The place was a bit loud but this is just my opinion as I like a but if a quiet moment when I eat ,but it was also packed with people so that's normal. If I go back to Cologne, I will definitely go there again!

A Must-Visit ✨ - Edit
I honestly don’t even know where to start - Virtuous Pie completely blew me away and became my absolute highlight in Cologne! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of them before a fully vegan restaurant specializing in pizza and ice cream? How did that slip under my radar? It’s still a mystery to me.
Read moreSince the weather was beautiful, I sat outside where there are plenty of tables. I was immediately overwhelmed (in the best way) by the menu everything sounded incredible. I asked one of the staff members for a recommendation, which turned out to be the best decision. He mentioned that the summer specials were really popular, especially the Hawaiian Summer and The Döner pizza. Since I love pineapple on pizza (no debate!) and can’t have spice, I went for the Hawaiian and oh my goodness, it was perfection.
Before my food even arrived, I asked about the drinks because the one at the next table looked amazing. The staff told me it was their house-made lemon lavender lemonade, and they also had flavors like rose and sour cherry. The woman at that table turned to me and said, that it’s perfect with that pizza. I took her advice and she was so right! The combination was dreamy. The lemonade was bright, floral, and refreshing, and paired beautifully with the pizza.
Now to the pizza itself - pure art. The crust was the perfect balance of crispy and fluffy, the pineapple tasted fresh and not canned, with a lovely caramelized note. The roasted vegan chicken paired perfectly with the creamy, house-made mozzarella and maple BBQ sauce. I was honestly in heaven every bite was perfect.
I soon realized I was surrounded by regulars, all saving their last two slices to take home so they’d still have room for dessert. I, on the other hand, couldn’t stop eating it was just too good! The staff and even other guests were incredibly friendly and chatty. The whole place radiates warmth, kindness, and a true vegan community spirit.
Even though I was full, I stayed longer and eventually ordered dessert maple pecan ice cream and strawberry cheesecake. Both were fantastic - creamy, flavorful, and the perfect way to end the meal. I was even offered to sample other flavors (so sweet!), but I was way too full to manage more.
Virtuous Pie is hands down one of the best vegan dining experiences I’ve had anywhere - delicious food, genuine hospitality, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I’d honestly travel back to Cologne just to eat here again! A massive, heartfelt recommendation from me!

War hier mit meiner (nicht veganen) Familie und wir waren alle begeistert! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und könnte unseren allergiebedingten Sonderwünschen gut nachkommen und das Essen war extrem lecker. Wir hatten verschiedene Pizzas, als Vorspeise Knoblauch Focaccia (konnte man gut für 4 Leute teilen) von der Sommerkarte und als Nachspeise den Pfannencookie und Erdbeer-Kösekuchen Eis. Alles fantastisch!

Amazing vegan pizza, lots of choice - Edit
Ordered from the seasonal menu, couldn't decide between the Doner pizza or the Hawaiian summer, the staff kindly agreed to do half and half (providing I had the same base sauce for both sides of the pizza) - they informed me if they aren't too busy they can offer half and half. The toppings are piled on high! Authentic dough. Wish I had room for a desert, as they offer milkshakes

Und ihr habt mich davon überzeugt, dass Ananas doch auf Pizza gehört (im Gegensatz zu Tieren)!

I went to Virtuous Pie a few months back and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Everything was amazing and had great flavor. I had the macaroni and cheese and my partner had the margherita pizza. We also got the cookie skillet with ice cream which was absolutely incredible. Don’t miss out on this place!

We had a fantastic time here! The food was amazing and the staff was lovely. Had a great chat with the owner, super friendly and professional! The starters, main pizza and the homemade ice cream was delicious. We will for sure come back, even though it is a two our drive. Die beste vegane Pizza! - Edit
Definitiv die beste vegane Pizza, die ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. Auch die Limonade und das Eis waren echt gut. Und super Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam und unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Würde ich in Köln wohnen, wäre ich sicher oft hier. So kann ich nur hoffen, dass ihr vielleicht irgendwann einen Laden in Hamburg aufmacht! :)
