Great choice of vegan food - Edit
There were about 12 items on the menu all of which I would have been happy to eat. I had the Cheezy Jackfruit potato wedges and my wife had a falafel toasted wrap.

Lovely friendly cafe with lovely food - Edit
Popped here for breakfast on a day trip to Dorchester. Lovely tasty vegan brekky with spicy fried tofu and the best home made beans I’ve ever had. (Usually when it’s home made brands my heart sinks!)

Wonderful intimate vegan cafe in Dorchester - Edit
Visited December 2024.
Read moreAwesome vegan cafe!!! I was here several during the Christmas market but still wanted to leave a review as I was so in love with this place. I want to visit Dorchester again purely just so I can go to Vibes and try out more of their foods on offer!! There is so much choice here, sadly we had already eaten elsewhere so just got drinks and cake - but these were utterly scrumptious.
It’s dog friendly.
There’s even a plant cuttings swap which is a beautiful and unique touch.
I cannot wait to revisit.
Pros: Great selection of vegan food and drink, Lovely atmosphere - incl a plant cuttings swap, Very friendly staff

Great food - Edit
A two-person team making amazing food. The strawberry milk shake + berry drinks were amazing and tasted clean, not that over the top sugary taste you get from certain brands. The breakfast left us very full for the whole afternoon. Animals are also welcome into the café and there are bowls for them to drink water from. I haven't had a better home-made falafel. Friendly owners but very rushed during busy periods.

The Nicest Person You're Likely to Meet - Edit
When we went, it was basically a one-man-show working at full speed! That said, he was absolutely the most hospitable and gracious person I've met in a long time. The food was great also, fresh food doused in sprinklings of harissa, delish!...and its all vegan (except the owner is pressured to keep a small bottle of cows milk for the local trade). That is why it is not labeled as a 100% Vegan cafe, but it kinda is. I am a big fan of this place!
Read moreUpdate: we went back again and it was even better! I had the fry-up which had the most delicious 'baked-beans' I had tasted in my life. He explained that because of his own heritage, he used a Syrian recipe and thought that this was much tastier (I agreed wholeheartedly!)

Delicious home cooked food - Edit
We went twice during our stay in Dorchester. What an absolute delight! The food was so delicious, fresh and tasty.
Read moreThe lentil soup was lightly spiced and served with toasted sourdough. The macaroni cheese was creamy and delicious. The wedges were spiced with harisa and were hot and perfect. The breakfast wrap was lovely. I enjoyed that it had roasted sweet potato inside and that it came with a side salad dressed with olive oil and pomegranate molasses. The caramel cheesecake was great with a chai latte. Everything vegan except for cows milk as an option for drinks. A very friendly and welcoming cafe with superb staff. Gets a bit busy at lunch time but the food is worth it.

Lovely friendly cafe with loads of choice - Edit
Went in by chance today after seeing signs for Hamza’s famous falafel. The falafel was indeed fantastic, but there was so much other choice I was a bit overwhelmed! Everything vegan (though as others have said dairy milk available so my non-vegan family couldn’t moan). We tried the breakfast bap, falafels and jackfruit wrap. All very fresh, piping hot and beautifully cooked. Very friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. Good value too! I was the only vegan in the group but all my family praised the food. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

We entered thinking it was vegetarian so we asked if it had vegan options and we were told that it was exclusively vegan, but did have moo milk too 😅

Lovely cosy cafe with good vibes - Edit
Stopped off for a quick lunch while in Dorchester. Staff were lovely and cafe had a cosy feel. Food took quite a while to come out and some items were unavailable by the time we visited (around 1pm) but when it did arrive the food was very tasty. The falafels were particularly good. Lentil soup was delish and great value for money.

Ate here as a family. Nice cosy place. Limited menu - made worse by the fact items were blocked out on our menu but we later heard others ordering those items.

Went to Dorchester to visit Vinyl Van record shop and did a quick search for vegan eateries, this place seemed perfect and was. Had the falafel wrap and it was amazing. We had a moment when we realised we’d had met before at a festival. Falafel this good stays in your memory. Would absolutely recommend this wonderful place if you are ever near Dorchester

Not a good experience - Edit
Only some of the order came for one of the party and we were left to wait for the rest , whilst others who came afterwards ordered and served. Eventually the staff member serving said they didn’t have the ingredients and weren’t making it. So after an hour we paid for what we had and left, so our planned nice lunch out was a disaster. Communication needs improving and telling customers they aren’t going to get their meals rather than leaving them waiting is the minimum.
