Ice-cream worth travelling hundreds of kilometres! - Edit
What a beautiful cosy spot situated in an alternative quarter! The staff are friendly and their big scoop of a combo of chocolate, caramel, and peanut ice-cream reminds me of snickers, tastes just like heaven and is totally worth the 4 euros and travelling 1.5 hours by train.

We had dinner here, and everything from start to finish tasted as good as it looked! The lemon cream cheesecake was absolute heaven! They also make their own ice cream. Will be back!!

Very well made new interior with good and well trained staff and Service.
From 5 pm onwards separaten evening Card on top of meals starting from lunch.
They try to be a bit more Exclusive when it comes to their meals. Not you ordinary vegan restaurant from across. Rather a place which differentiates itself with creative and well well made and prepared food with eye for details.
Super yum and fresh meals.
Always a good choice when around Velo to step by!

Really good food. Many flavours and structures but still very eatable. Looks festive on the plates and tastes just like that. It’s a gift to eat here. I spent 108 euros on 3 mains, 2 desserts and 6 fresh made drinks (Apfel Minz and Velo Sunrise).

Le lieu est vaste, sobre et élégant. Nous y étions au retour d'une randonnée à 15h. La carte propose des menus du midi et du soir mais aussi tout une petite restauration copieuse pour les entre deux. Les produits sont frais et les plats succulents. Les desserts extraordinaires, servis avec coulis et chantilly ! Nous nous sommes régalées.

Read moreWir leben seit über 10 Jahren vegan, ich koche selber täglich frisch. So ist es eine ganz besondere Freude, wenn man ein rein veganes Restaurant findet. Wenn das Essen dann noch so toll schmeckt und frisch zubereitet wird wie im Velo sowie die Mitarbeiterinnen so freundlich sind, ist das einfach absolut grossartig. Danke für alles, natürlich kommen wir bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder.
Wir waren 2 x zu Frühstück da (das Mediterrane Frühstück können wir von Herzen empfehlen) und einmal zum Abendessen (das 4-Gang-Menü war absolut fantastisch).

Schöne Lage in einem ruhigen Hinterhof in der Landauer Altstadt, rein pflanzenbasierte Küche, unglaublich leckere selbstgebackene Kuchen und jeden Tag ein anderer Mittagstisch! Hab zu Mittag gegessen, 15,50 inkl. Flasche Wasser, Pasta und einem separaten Salat dabei. Ab Nachmittag bis zum Abend gibts 3 warme Gerichte wie zum Beispiel Lasagne oder Geschnetzeltes mit Serviettenknödel ab 11,50. Abends hat man die Wahl aus verschiedenen sehr feinen Vorspeisen, Suppe und wechselnden Hauptgängen.Karte gibts online. Große Getränkeauswahl inkl. Weinkarte und Bier von der Hirsch Brauerei!
