Vegan Heaven! - Edit
I was so overwhelmed by the menu and wanted everything, but ultimately decided on the loaded pierogis. So delicious! Came with about 5 pierogis with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and scallions. Perfect balance of all flavors. My omni boyfriend got the Big Mac style chicken sandwich and he also loved it. It was a very large burger that left him stuffed. I also grabbed a burrata style mozzarella to take home. I will definitely be back in the future to try more on the menu! #Veganuary

Love. - Edit
Best vegan burger I've ever had…the truffle one. It was delicious but very rich and almost too decadent. The Caesar salad was also delicious but similarly very rich and could benefit from something to cut through/balance the flavors. The fig and feta sandwich was great as well! I loved the atmosphere and the employees were very friendly.

Yummy grab n go options! - Edit
They had some wonderful options. We grabbed the harvest chicken salad, loaded hoagie pasta salad, and a kid ceasar pasta salad, and a cinnamon toast marshmallow treat. Everything was delicious! I also got an eggnog flavored coffee which was lovely. We wish they had a bit more for options but we were there about a half hour before they closed on Sunday - so we’re excited to come back if we’re in the area again!

Decadent comfort food - Edit
Pierogies, paninis, mac & cheese, nachos, desserts, vegan candy, tons of grab & go, and soft service ice cream! People in this historic neighborhood are so lucky. They are now open later too. I hardly ever seen pierogies on a menu -- they are not the deep fried kind but soft with a lot of toppings. I always get Caesar salad on a vegan menu, my test item, lol -- this one was large, and I added the chicken strips, filling -- and sunflower seeds are a nice savory touch. Food arrives on a tray in paper containers with wax paper. Taco meat is nicely spicy. They don't skimp on the cheese or sauce. I wish the seating area was bigger. I'd get takeout here all the time if I lived in this beautiful area right across from the library and close to Main Street on the north side of town. This is the kind of vegan food that would easily appeal to omnivores. Menu is large.

Food good, packaging not - Edit
I never ate here often because I hate that they use styrofoam takeout containers. The food is good comfort-style stuff , and shakes are amazing. I tried it again since they reopened after being closed for a while. Disappointing that not only are they still not using biodegradable containers, but they've stopped serving french fries. How can you have junk food without fries?! Gonna pass on this place next time.

So happy they're back - Edit
When I first moved to the area I was so happy there were vegan restaurants around. Then this place closed, and for good reasons, while the owner battled cancer. Luckily they recovered and decided to reopen. I missed this place so much. The foods are comfort foods like deli sandwiches, Mac and cheese, and pierogi. I have tried a bit of everything and it is all delicious. I love the Ruben sandwich but be warned it is messy! The Mac and cheese is always very filling and I have to take home leftovers whenever I get that. The pierogi is the perfect portion, I finish it and feel full. I also love their many flavors of coffee.

Pros: Mac and cheese , Coffee , Many options

This is a gem. I go with my non-vegan family and friends, and everybody loves it. I’ve tried most of the menu and loved everything. The soft serve and milkshakes are also amazing.

Great Restaurant - Edit
VegOut is temporarily closed while the owner battles a rare cancer. 😔 When it reopens, they're going to be flooded with support. They are loved in their community. Everything we ate at VegOut was 10/10 delicious. I loved my Deluxe Chicken Sandwich and Loaded Nachos. Everything was super flavorful, large portions ans great prices. They also have absolutely delicious soft serve ice cream with different flavored cones and toppings.

Love this place! - Edit
I frequently pass through the area as a sort of halfway point when visiting family in CT, and having gone to VegOut the past 2 times I did this is my new favorite go-to. I am a pierogi fan, so I looooooove their loaded ones! The other items I tried were good but not as mind blowing as the various loaded pierogies. I tried one of the fun latte flavors and look forward to trying more.

HUGE PORTIONS - Edit
Very tasty food, they are just very dense. I did try my friends Mac and cheese and truly wasn’t a fan. Honestly the best thing I had was a root beer float there while I was waiting because it was a 45 min wait. Usually places will use coconut base, which I’m allergic to so the oat milk was a huge plus

Good Local Vegan Restaurant - Edit
The food is good and the location is wonderful. The shakes are creative. I'm never overly impressed with the food, but it's a serviceable local Vegan restaurant when the fast-food craving strikes. The only problem is the portions. I need to order two things to feel full.

Comfort food at it’s finest! - Edit
I love this restaurant! Today was my second visit and my husband’s first. I got the Philly cheesesteak and he got the barbecue ranch burger.
Read moreMy cheesesteak had so much “meat” in it, I couldn’t finish it! The only thing is, I wish it had a bit more peppers and onions. Other than that, it was excellent! We also liked the fact that they give you homefries type potatoes instead of fries.
I also had an iced lavender latte that I enjoyed quite a bit!
I honestly can say enough good things about this restaurant and look forward to our next trip.😄
