Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Netherlands, if not every other country I’ve been to. Fully vegan, and about a third of the menu is raw. It is rather pricey, but so worth it to me. Everything is freshly made, including the cheeses and sauces, and the staff is so welcoming and accommodating.

We had a nice evening at Veggies on Fire during our stay at Delft. Evene on thursday evening we were happy that we made a reservation. As a group of 5 we had different dishes and enyoed all of them. We tryed the springrolls as a starter, the Stroganoff, the Burger and the Raw_veggie-Burrito. As a dessert the Limepie was the perfect completion. Very delicous and yummy. Though the restaurant was full and we had to wait a little longer, the stuff stayed calm and very attentive. We' ll be back at the next occasion.

What a wonderful place to have dinner. I would recommend the place to everyone. There is always somening new on the menu every season, so you can come back and enjoy new food on a regular basis. Also the staff was very friendly and made us feel like we were at home. All the food was freshly prepared. As a starter, we picked the Coxinha, which is a traditional Brazilian type of croquette. They subsituted the minced chicken, which is usually inside, with home-made minced seitan. The taste was amazing. As a main I took the seitan barbecue, which contained home made seitan pieces with vegetable from the grill and a home-made barbecue sauce, which was also very nice. As we were a bit in a rush, we could not have a dessert (we only had 2 hours time to have dinner). So if you want the full experience, take your time.

The menu is original and changes with the season. We tried a raw menu (salad with curcuma dressing, greek wrap and sorbet ice with rhubarb crumble) and a cooked menu (asparagus croquette, sate with peanut sauce and lemon curd merengue pie). They were all beautifully presented, clearly freshly prepared and the taste was good, especially the combination of textures. A 3 course menu is filling and delicious but the flavour combinations were not mindblowing and for that price I expected something more.
Pros: clear happy cow promotion, raw food options for each course, many in house specialties
Cons: only one table outside, bit expensive, chai lattee from a tea bag, not that cosy
