Quel dommage qu'un restaurant végétarien détienne 2 oiseaux dans une petite cage et des poissons dans un petit aquarium, ce n'est pas du tout éthique.

Par ailleurs, le stress constant de la captivité et la claustrophobie peuvent amener les oiseaux vendus comme animaux de compagnie à crier, à mordre, à faire les cent pas, à becqueter sans cesse les barreaux de la cage ou à s’arracher les plumes jusqu’à ce que leur peau soit à vif et ensanglantée.
Nous avions l'habitude d'aller dans ce restaurant, nous n'irons plus.

Putting birds in cages or fish in small aquariums deprives them of the opportunity to exercise properly by flying or swimming away, using their big brains to exercise their cognitive and social abilities, or communicate their feelings to other members of their species – when all these things are vital to their well-being and survival. Moreover, the constant stress of captivity and claustrophobia can cause birds sold as pets to scream, bite, walk, To constantly peck at the cage bars or tear off their feathers until their skin is raw and bloody.
We used to go to this restaurant, we won’t go anymore.

A good variety of options, vegan options clearly labelled. The lentil soup was spot on!

The only negative I would give is that there is a small aquarium with fish in and a small bird cage with a couple of birds in. Obviously we don’t know the story behind them, and I’m sure they are well looked after, but it’s a little disconcerting seeing captive animals in a veggie/vegan establishment.

Avant, j'avais une seule adresse pour un bon Cigkofte ; j'ai trouvé ici la deuxième, pour les fois où je serai dans ce coin de Paris où l'offre végane est moins capillaire qu'ailleurs.

I ordered the chef's choice 6 starters for €12 which for me was plenty of food. Nothing remarkable but a nice place, food was tasty and service was friendly. You can sit outside but it's on a relatively busy road.

Visited her with a friend and we were STARVING! She is veggie and I vegan, so we were happy to see this restaurant. They had no plant based milk at all, and wa laughed at for suggesting the notion! I had the hummus and falafel salad which was good, but all the tasty sounding options were not vegan.

Y suis allée hier à cause du bon retour ici, et j'ai été vraiment déçue.
Read moreLes portions sont minuscules. J'ai choisi l'assortiment des 6 entrées (chaque entrée est moins qu'une cuillère) pour 12€ le plat. Servi avec des lamelles de pita chauffées au micro-ondes avant de les servir. L'une des entrées (les poivrons) avait tourné.
Ce qui était réellement désagréable, c'est le gars qui parlait au téléphone de manière très bruyante, alors que j'étais la seule cliente sur place.
A fuir.
Cons: Portions minuscules, Inattention de celui qui y travaille, Trop cher pour ce que c'est
