I just happened to be in Bratislava when the festival was on, just by chance. It was great! Lots of different options for both food and dessert. Both international and local options to be found. I came back several times during the day!

Favourite vegan festival! - Edit
This is the biggest festival of veganism in Slovakia, held twice a year, it's always a fantastic opportunity to attend great talks, meet up with fellow vegans and mainly enjoy all the incredible foods! I strongly believe anyone will choose something to try at Veganske hody as the selection of food is so vast. It's always one of my most favourite days of the year, the atmosphere is out of this world, people are super nice and it's just an overall happy event celebrating veganism!

The biggest vegan event in Bratislava - Edit
You should definitely come and try some delicious food like burgers, gyoza, Asian meals or traditional Slovak food in a vegan version. Besides the vegan food, you can support the vegan activism and buy some clothes, bags or accessories.
Read moreLast time when I was there, I tried "Kokosko" from OZ Vagus. They offered Asian style rice noodles with creamy sauce from peanut butter. It was really delicious and all your money goes to the people from Vagus, who are helping the homeless people in town. So you become some really good food and help the homeless people. Perfect idea :)

Be sure not to miss it if you're in town. The only downside is that you usually have to wait ...because also non-vegans come to try some delicious vegan goodness :)
