Delicious vegan pastei de nata / Délicieux pastei de nata végan - Edit
A small coffee shop with very very good vegan pastei de nata (my Portuguese boyfriend and his parents told me they are exactly like the non vegan ones). They are creamy and yummy!
Read moreMy coffee came in an eatable cup, something i was positively surprised about! I had a bite and it was not bad, pretty neutral and a bit weird, I don't think I would eat the entire cup though..
I definitely recommend!

Delicious! - Edit
You can´t visit Lisbon without trying a vegan Pastel de nata, and VeganNata is definitely the go to spot! Traditionally pastel de nata are based on eggs, but this is the best proof that there is no need to conserve old-fashioned habits. There are many outlets of this chain were you can grab them to go or have one with a vegan coffee or g olden milk at the store

WOW! These are so good. To be honest, these didn't look very appealing at first and I almost passed on them...that would have been a huge mistake! The moment I bit into one of these I was so shocked by the delicious flavor and texture inside. The outside was flakey like a croissant or fancy french pastry. The inside was a creamy texture that wasn't too sweet. VeganNata also provided powdered sugar and cinnamon you could sprinkle on top, which was a nice add. Total winner in my eyes. So glad I was able to try a vegan version of this Portuguese delicacy!

Awesome - Edit
I love the vegan Nata so much. It gets quite close to the original one and the price is 1.20€ per pastel. This is not too bad. You can put cinnamon and sugar if you want.
