Wir waren aufgrund der guten Bewertungen auf unserer Durchreise dort und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Service war wirklich sehr freundlich und das Lokal ist sehr schön und einladend eingerichtet.

Wir haben uns zuerst zu zweit ein paar Vorspeisen geteilt (Frittierte Austernpilze und vegane Fleischröllchen) und waren von beiden begeistert. Toll präsentiert und super im Geschmack!
Danach haben wir verschiedene Sushi-Varianten probiert. Wir hatten Frittierte Sushi, Makis und Nigiris und alle waren lecker. Optisch durch den rosafarbenen Reis schon sehr ansprechend und geschmacklich dann auch noch toll.
Wir können den Laden nur empfehlen und würden auch gerne noch einmal hierher kommen, um noch weitere Sachen zu probieren.

Essen und Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist super. Hundefreundlich und sehr nettes Personal. Vor allem die vegane vorspeiseplatte ist zu empfehlen, aber grundsätzlich immer schön, wenn man bedenkenlos zuschlagen kann.

The bowl "45 Bowl Lòng Kho Nâ´m" tasted good, but it was more like a soup to me. It was filling. The mushrooms were fresh and tasty, the seitan and the separatedly served rice were good, too. The sauce/liquid part didn't completely convince me. To me the sauce/liquid part tasted as if prepared not only with fresh ingredients/additives. The description did not say that it was spicy, but there was a large and very spicy slice of a red pepper in the food. Since to me it seemed more like a delicious soup with extra portion rice, it seemed a bit pricy to me. The staff was very friendly. The outside seating was great, the interior design and decoration looked cosy as well. All in all, I enjoyed the visit and the dish was tasty.

With all the great reviews, we were looking forward to eating here after a long day of travel. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The place itself was fine, bright and quite busy for a Tuesday night. We had booked anyway.
Read moreThe staff were friendly enough although only one of them could speak English. That's fair enough - we were in Germany after all - but it did lead to a few bits of confusion. My partner did not care for any of the main cases, so she ordered 3 starters. I was more conventional and had a starter plus a main course. Everything arrived at once, which surprised us but may have been part of the confusion.
One feature of all the dishes was a gloopy sauce, salty and made with much cornflour. My partner found the baked avocado horrible, and disliked the sauces. She was also disappointed that it was virtually impossible to get anything fresh in terms of vegetables or salad - everything was either fried or soaked in sauce.
I had the "ribs" as starter and the "fish" tempura as the main course, although, if anything, the former was the more substantial dish. There was also some sticky rice. I enjoyed the fish and rice but found the sauce on the ribs uneatable. None of the desserts appealed, so we did not choose one.
When we left at the end, we both had a nasty taste in our mouth.
So, disappointment. One feature that always makes me suspicious in a restaurant is when there is a massive choice of dishes, as is the case here. That might explain why several of the sauces tasted the same and possibly the absence of anything fresh, since that takes time to prepare.
Obviously, the restaurant is popular. It's worth noting that I generally like Vietnamese restaurants, so my disappointment is not because I do not like that type of food.
As a final point, they do not accept cards, so you have to pay cash.

Read moreSehr schönen modernes und ansprechendes Ambiente. Wir hatten als Vorspeise die vietnamesisch gefüllte Hefeteigtasche und das Tempura Sojafleisch mit Fischsoße. Wir hatten versehentlich die Tamarinde Soße bekommen, die aber auch sehr gut war. Beides sehr gut. Wobei das Tempura Sojafleisch unser Favorit war.
Als Hauptspeise hatten wir die traditionell vietnamesische Reisnudelsuppe Pho und die Buddha Bowl mit Hähnchen. Beides sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich aber das Pho hervorheben. Außergewöhnlich gut und ungewöhnlich von den Gewürzen her. Hatte ich so noch nie gegessen, vermutlich weil Pho sonst immer nicht vegan ist.i

Read moreDas komplett vegane vietnamesische Restaurant hat eine große Karte mit so viel Auswahl, dass es schwer fällt sich zu entscheiden. Aber am Ende ist vermutlich alles super. Das Interieur ist super schön und es gibt viele Plätze auf zwei Etagen. Auch draußen kann man Platz nehmen. Das Vegana hat eine große Auswahl als hausgemachten Limonaden, die köstlich sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen frisch, wahnsinnig lecker und wunderhübsch angerichtet. Außerdem sind die Portionen groß und das Angebot an Speisen kreativ und ausgefallen. Günstig ist es nicht, aber es lohnt sich, denn man bekommt hier wirklich Qualität serviert. Beim nächsten Besuch in Mannheim werde ich bestimmt wiederkommen und empfehlen kann ich das Restaurant ebenfalls uneingeschränkt. ❤️
