My favourite meal from my trip to Japan - Edit
I went here on my first night in Fukuoka and had the Hakata Ramen Set. Every course was delicious, but the ramen itself and the vegan tiramisu for dessert were particular highlights. As a usual fast eater, I found myself slowing down just because I didn't want the meal to end!
Read moreThe chef was very friendly and explained what each dish was, and there are English menus. It's a small place though so if you don't have a reservation you may find yourself waiting outside for a while.

So rich, creamy and flavourful! - Edit
Exceptional! Full of flavour and the broth so rich and creamy. We ate here twice during our one week’s stay in Fukuoka. Being a vegetarian I was ready to forego enjoying this city’s culinary indulgences, so all the more I was surprised and delighted! I personally loved the Hakata-style ramen and the karaage and pair with their vegan sake. Chef super friendly, warm and welcoming.

Absolutely marvelous - Edit
We arrived along with 2 other groups and the empty restaurant (opened 5 minutes earlier) was almost full instantly. Nevertheless, the owner and cook and waiter (yes one person did everything) has been amazing, managed to take every order and served everyone quite fast. He kindly explained to us how to drink sake and the ramen were delicious. Careful, even the not spicy were a bit spicy for my french taste buds. We even had a chat with the owner thanks to Google Translate (he understood English but did not speak it well) and left him french candies to thank him. Really, go there

Exquisite skill and atmospheric minimalism - Edit
Absolutely phenomenal experience. The restaurant is a hidden gem and so it’s not easy to find but when you do you, you will be on for a treat! The interior is Japanese minimalist style with soft rhythms playing in the background and beautiful natural decor and ceramics. The chef was masterful and cheerful. The presentation gives the impression of exquisite fine dining yet the place is unorentious and welcoming. The best of both worlds. The meal started with an amazing smear of vegan cheese adorned with a sliced radish. I think this was to emulate salmon. It tasted smoky like an expensive campfire. It went great with the hot and cold sake we ordered. I think that was the best thing we had all night! Next was the vegan karage. It was interesting and went well with the cabbage. I had the chilli ramen and my friend had the hataka ramen. It was very impressive how well this ramen imitated the meat ingredients in ramen like pork without reractually using it. And my friend say it was still flavorful! It’s difficult to find vegan food in Fukuoka but this place is a place if you’re vegan and want to try authentic Japanese cuisine!

Simply exceptional! A need-to-try experience. - Edit
Without a doubt one of the best all vegan ramen restaurants, if not the best, that you can experience.
Read moreThe flavours are just exceptionally good, complex, rich and just delicious.
I'd recommend to sit at the counter rather than a table, in order to see the chef working. You will salivate even before you can taste.
The chef has his own macerated soya sauces, pickled and macerated ingredients. Everything is busting with rich and delicious flavours.
It's definitely a great experience and I'd love to come and come again.
If I were living in Fukuoka, it would be one of my favourite places for sure.
Pros: The chef/owner is very welcoming., The ambience is quiet., Everything.

An unforgettable Experience - Edit
We had two ramen sets, one Tantanmen and one Hakata Ramen.
Read moreWe sat at the bar, and he cooked right in front of us, which made the whole experience even more special.
It all began with incredibly delicious green tea and a house-made ginger ale. As a starter, he served us wonderfully flavorful gyoza, which were the perfect way to begin the meal.
Then, right before our eyes, he prepared beautifully crafted vegan sushi, carefully garnished and absolutely amazing in flavor, it tasted as good as it looked.
As for the ramen, it was simply indescribable. The Tantanmen were the creamiest and most flavorful I’ve ever had, and my wife’s Hakata Ramen were just as outstanding, rich, comforting, and incredibly pleasant to eat.
To finish, there was a wonderful tofu and green tea dessert. We honestly wished it would never end.
We had such a lovely conversation with Chef Nino, he was incredibly kind and warm. It was truly a beautiful and unforgettable experience.
Pros: All vegan, Chef Nino is so kind, Tastes unbelievably amazing

Tasty and rich - Edit
We ordered incredibly crispy fried oyster mushrooms and a ramen with the sesame seeds base (it was really filling!). On Google, it said that they also serve sake but they didn't, however, I ordered another delicious non-alcoholic drink. Would visit again to try the other ramen styles.

Excellent. A breath of fresh air. - Edit
The owner clearly cares about the service and style of food. He offered some items that I've never seen anywhere before - mentaiko toast??? vegan fried oysters???
Read moreHe's made such a unique and thoughtful menu. The complete opposite of those who seek to lazily profit off vegans and their lack of options. It was a reasonable price, quick service, and simple but good ambience.
He served hakata style ramen with a rich flavour and the local, thinner noodles. He even took the time to explain about the ingredients when I asked, and he let me charge my phone. He refilled my water whenever it got low. Even the music was great.
This place was 10/10.
Pros: The food is great quality and unique!, Reasonable price, The owner is kind and thoughtful
Cons: Nothing. This place surpassed all expectations.
