Simply exceptional! A need-to-try experience. - Edit
Without a doubt one of the best all vegan ramen restaurants, if not the best, that you can experience.
Read moreThe flavours are just exceptionally good, complex, rich and just delicious.
I'd recommend to sit at the counter rather than a table, in order to see the chef working. You will salivate even before you can taste.
The chef has his own macerated soya sauces, pickled and macerated ingredients. Everything is busting with rich and delicious flavours.
It's definitely a great experience and I'd love to come and come again.
If I were living in Fukuoka, it would be one of my favourite places for sure.
Pros: The chef/owner is very welcoming., The ambience is quiet., Everything.

Fantasic food - Edit
We had the Hakuta Vegan Ramen, fried oysters, and kyoza. The master also gave us complimentary tofu tiramisu. Everything was great. Probably the best vegan food I have had in Fukuoka so far.

An unforgettable Experience - Edit
We had two ramen sets, one Tantanmen and one Hakata Ramen.
Read moreWe sat at the bar, and he cooked right in front of us, which made the whole experience even more special.
It all began with incredibly delicious green tea and a house-made ginger ale. As a starter, he served us wonderfully flavorful gyoza, which were the perfect way to begin the meal.
Then, right before our eyes, he prepared beautifully crafted vegan sushi, carefully garnished and absolutely amazing in flavor, it tasted as good as it looked.
As for the ramen, it was simply indescribable. The Tantanmen were the creamiest and most flavorful I’ve ever had, and my wife’s Hakata Ramen were just as outstanding, rich, comforting, and incredibly pleasant to eat.
To finish, there was a wonderful tofu and green tea dessert. We honestly wished it would never end.
We had such a lovely conversation with Chef Nino, he was incredibly kind and warm. It was truly a beautiful and unforgettable experience.
Pros: All vegan, Chef Nino is so kind, Tastes unbelievably amazing

Tasty and rich - Edit
We ordered incredibly crispy fried oyster mushrooms and a ramen with the sesame seeds base (it was really filling!). On Google, it said that they also serve sake but they didn't, however, I ordered another delicious non-alcoholic drink. Would visit again to try the other ramen styles.

Excellent. A breath of fresh air. - Edit
The owner clearly cares about the service and style of food. He offered some items that I've never seen anywhere before - mentaiko toast??? vegan fried oysters???
Read moreHe's made such a unique and thoughtful menu. The complete opposite of those who seek to lazily profit off vegans and their lack of options. It was a reasonable price, quick service, and simple but good ambience.
He served hakata style ramen with a rich flavour and the local, thinner noodles. He even took the time to explain about the ingredients when I asked, and he let me charge my phone. He refilled my water whenever it got low. Even the music was great.
This place was 10/10.
Pros: The food is great quality and unique!, Reasonable price, The owner is kind and thoughtful
Cons: Nothing. This place surpassed all expectations.

We went here for dinner and the ambience was just so so cute! With the dim light and open kitchen, what a nice sight to experience!
Read moreWe ordered the Hakata style ramen, the tantanmen, and fried oyster. All were so warming and tasted amazing. The broth was so thick almost like soup and we enjoyed it much!
Just not to be confused, the name on the building said "Mondo Hirao" (we don't know why) but it's the right place!
Pros: The thick soup, The ambience, The cute owner

Hervorragende Ramen - Edit

One of the best vegan restaurant in Japan ! - Edit
It is inside a building like the Google Maps description says, you'll see it from the ground.
Read moreThis is easily one of the best if not the best vegan place I've been to in Japan !
The owner is alone and makes everything from scratch and in front of you, it's truly wonderful.
We arrived with a bit of waiting and he offered us 4 bottles of water and recommended we go to a nearby small traditional garden while the tables get freed, he was so nice ❤️ The temple was wonderful and the waiting time was even shorter than predicted.
We ordered a lot of everything and it was all so flavorful, mastered like a pure chef with a perfect balance in every meal. The sushi especially, which he told us were from his grandmother's recipe were something out of this world 🤩
You cannot go wrong here, he even offered us dessert for 6 so he is a good trader as well. We talked a bit in the end and he's so sweet, trying his best and you can see he likes what he's doing, it's beautiful !
Only opened since late May 2025 but it's gonna be a classic in no time I'm telling you !
Pros: Lovely owner, Perfect food

Must try in Fukuoka - Edit
I'm so glad I got to try this place. The Hakata-style ramen was the best I've ever had, the broth was so rich and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spicy tomato ramen was also a huge hit; it had a flavor that was both unique and delicious. The gyoza were crispy and fantastic, easily earning five stars.
Read moreWhat made this restaurant truly special, though, was the owner. He's incredibly passionate about his craft, growing his own food and creating his own spices. You can taste the quality and love he puts into everything. We were there on a hot day, and as we were leaving, he kindly offered us cold bottles of water. This kind of genuine hospitality is wonderful.
This is a hidden gem in Fukuoka and a must visit. You'll leave with a full belly and a warm heart.
