Vegan asian comfort food - Edit
If you want classic asian comfort food that is vegan, this is the place. The food is good, not great, but it perfectly scratches the itch for Friday-night takeout or a nice, quick dinner date. Would recommend and will be going back.

My husband and I went here during vacation and loved it! He got the Spicy Fried Rice with “shrimp,” and asked for medium spice, which was perfect for him. I got the Drunken Noodles with soy beef, mild spice, and it was so good! We also split Spring Rolls, which were good. Would definitely come back here again!

We enjoyed the appetizers, which were delicious and beautifully presented - tofu sataay and spring rolls. The entree a cashew dish with tofu added was uneven: the pineapple in it was salty and the tofu had an odd consistency and seemed to have an aftertaste.

I always get it to go or delivered because it is a small seating area. The glass noodle salad is so good--herby, limey, tart, spicy! Their orange tofu is also a fave if you like sweet sauces. Great Thai iced tea

Don’t walk, RUN to this little gem! This is one of the finds I would have never discovered without the app. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this place is amazing! Had the Drunken Noodles and it was exactly what I needed being completely jet lagged and hangry. Everything was fresh, spiced to my liking, the staff was ever so friendly and the prices are more than decent while portion sizes are huge. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I love Vegan Plate so much. They are awesome at making amazing Thai food and can accommodate everyone's different dietary restrictions. Great Lincoln Park Location and such nice people there. My husband gets oil free, I get soy free, they have lots of GF options. It has a limited number of tables, but it is very cosy.

It was the middle of the afternoon and it was raining, so I crawled into the little hut labeled “Vegan Plate” on it that I had driven past so many times before. It was such a small place but I knew that I was gonna get my fillings worth! And I did! This is a vegan Thai food lover’s paradise!!

Best Thai coffee I’ve ever had! The sweet and sour chicken and Kung pao chicken were very delicious. The sushi roll was ok. Nothing special, but not bad. I’ll go back just for that coffee!!

I apparently came it at a weird time for vegan sushi, I was as given a menu that didn’t include it but when I asked (small language / hearing barrier on my part) I was told (I think) that I showed up right about when the sushi options were no longer available. Which was fine and they had a menu full of other great looking choices, but I only wanted sushi at that moment - they accommodated and my rolls were really good. If I lived there I’d go back to try other options.

The food was amazing. We had it delivered to our hotel by Doordash. It took a while on a Friday night but was worth the wait. My husband had an All Day Combo with the Red Curry and loved it. His came with two tasty spring rolls. I ordered a bunch of appetizers: Gyoza (dumplings), Chikn Satay and Vegan Tempura; which we shared. Scrumptious! And we still have heaps left for lunch today.

While we loved the vegan sushi, the restaurant lacks in ambiance. They seem to be doing a good business in take out, but while we were dining in their business in the kitchen kept them from coming to our table. I will definitely give them another try due to the quality of their food though. Everything was delicious!

Vegan Sushi - Edit
We tried a few of the sushi rolls and loved them. They have other options as well which look tasty. My favorite was the Spicy Tumato Roll and my girlfriend liked the Live Love Laugh Roll but everything was delicious. The environment was cozy and the service was good. I definitely want to go back and try some of their entrees.

Such a fun "hole-in-the-wall" place with excellent food and friendly service. It was so fun to try vegan sushi that went beyond your typical avocado and cucumber rolls. Would definitely go back again.

It was great food. I guess all menu is about Thai food. We enjoyed ourselves so much. The staff is friendly and has a lot of choices on the menu and one nice bonus is a very reasonable price.
