We experienced excellent customer service and the wait staff made every effort for us to get seated even though we had four large suitcases in tow. The food blew me away. We all received a tomato soup as an appetizer which was extremely tasty and fresh. I ordered the cous cous salad which was divine and the coconut mousse did not disappoint either. Such a shame we weren’t staying longer as I would have loved to eat here again.

Have been to Vega a few times. We went when they first opened and it was ok then another time it was good and then today we had the menu of the day. Instead of having lemonade they gave us orangeaid which doesn’t really work. The food was very oily.

Hace unos días probé los aperitivos de Vega y no me gustaron mucho. Puedes pedir tres por 4.50, no tienen gluten y eso es un punto a favor. Pero al ser la mayoría para dippear (hummus, paté, guacamole), el acompañamiento (nachos, chips de garbanzo, etc.) es escaso y te queda todo en el cuenquito. Además el sabor no me gustó y el tomate del guacamole estaba como pasado y chicloso. En resumen, los aperitivos me parecen caros y de poca calidad.

After visiting Vega through Happy cow the first time I have since made this a regular stop. The food portions are generous and it never fails to impress my would be convertees. Highly recommend you make a stop. The chocolate mousse makes a great desert!

I was just wandering around and found that place on Happy cow, I took the daily salad "para llevar" (take away) it was super super fresh and delicious, very satisfying, for around 5€. Lentils, fresh cut raw veggies (carrots, beetroots, courgettes...), an amazing creamy lemony sauce, refreshing and filling, I will come back for more!

Honestly, the best vegan experience I’ve had so far - Edit
The staff was extremely friendly and cordial. The food was amazing, specially the vegan “chicken” on top of the Caesar salad and the mushroom croquets! The waiter made sure to bring a bowl of water to the dog in the table in front of us, which just makes the experience even better.

It's a lovely little restaurant near Grand Vía. Very lovely staff and the food was delicious. We had mushroom crocquets and patatas bravas and veggie noodles. The food was lovely, really different as well. Definitely recommend.

La comida es regular, no es la gran cosa y el servicio es pésimo. Las dos veces que fui estaba muy lleno el lugar y los meseros son muy pesados. Por el trato que recibí decidí no volver a ir durante el tiempo que estuve en Madrid. Además, pedí el almuerzo del día que era una hamburguesa (sin pan 😠), una sopa pequeña y un postre pequeño, por lo que no me llené.

VEGA served really great food. We had the croquettes, a quinoa bowl and seitan “steak”. All were full of flavour, arrived quickly and were well presented. The staff were very friendly. This place does get busy so probably best to book. We walked off the street and were lucky to score a table.
