I had the daily ,emu which was a soup a main dish and a a small cake. Served with a glass of hibiscus water.

The snack appetiser (free) given was some gnocchi and sun dried tomatoes which was pretty much OK only.

The pizza was great, with their own homemade ‘cheese’ sauce and artichoke topping. The crust is always vital on a pizza and they nailed it.
The cheesecake was rich and creamy, and was well balanced out with a fruit (I think raspberry) sauce.

Vegan hideout in the bustling city centre - Edit
Several of the dishes that were on the menu were not available when we visited. The service was slow and one of our dishes arrived with a considerable delay. So only three stars, but I'm willing to give this place another chance (I still want to try the tartare!). We ordered the spinach 'croquetas', teriyaki eggplant (with glass noodles and chives, which was a super nice touch) and crispy broccoli to share among the three of us, plus cheesecake and mousse for dessert. Our favourites were the 'croquetas', they looked nice with sprout decorations and had a pleasantly creamy texture. Overall, the food itself was good and the name 'cheesefake' made us chuckle.

Si estás por Malasaña merece la pena parar a comer aquí. Calidad precio buena, probamos las croquetas buenísimas y crujientes. La ensalada de burrata es grande, recomiendo compartir. El tiramisú espectacular. Servicio super amable y rápido.

Small place with a highly enjoyable atmosphere. The music was quiet and the lights were delightfully dimmed, the tables weren't too close together and the staff were gentle and friendly in how they interacted. This all added up to an ideal foundational layer for the rest of the experience to follow. They had a burger on the menu, but I was more intrigued by their other options for the time being. Limited options but executed very well, with locally sourced ingredients and boasting a great selection of local beer and wine. Highly enjoyable cutlery too, which is rare. My only complaint was that the wine glasses weren't as clean as they should be. All selections were delectable but special mention to the croquettes, which are a highlight.

The food is tasty but a bit bland, especially the set menu. Portion sizes are really small hence the pricing aspect particularly on the ala carte .It is quite busy so maybe another staff member would be advisable. #Veganuary
