Nice bakery cafe for brunch

You can choose the number of items you like from the menu depending on how hungry you are. The cafe is quite cosy and quiet when we visited there. They have a bakery section as well but would recommend to dine in as the bread became quite soggy when we bought back to eat.

All-day breakfasts and freshly baked breads

I’ve heard of this place many times before on Facebook and on Instagram, so I was very interested in coming here.

The café is mostly lacto/ovo-Vegetarian and only a few items that are vegan-friendly.

What we tried:
The All-Day Breakfast
Choose between 5-8 items to form your breakfast platter. There were only only 6-7 vegan options on the selection sheet. The breads are free flow (limited 2 times) but only the baguette is vegan.
It also comes with a drink. We chose to have the orange juice, and it’s just orange syrup diluted with water.

We also got ourselves the freshly baked Red Wine Raisin bun (non-alcoholic) and the Pumpkin Seed with beans bun, and they’re both really really good! Especially when they’re still piping hot from the oven. The vegan breads are only available after 12pm.

A little tip on translating Chinese food labels:
葷 (hūn) = not at all Vegetarian. Contains animal products including meat
蛋奶素 (dàn nâi sù) = lacto-ovo Vegetarian (contains dairy and eggs)
蛋素 (dàn sù) = ovo-Vegetarian (contains egg)
奶素 (nâi sù) = lacto-Vegetarian (contains dairy)
純素 (chún sù) or 全素 (quán sù) = Vegan.
無五辛(wú wû xin) = contains none of the 5 pungent roots (onion, garlic etc)
