V Good - Edit

I came here twice while in Calgary. I had the Double Bac’n Cheeseburger ($12, added a picture) both times since it was so tasty. The patty is their own which uses Beyond Meat and their own spices and such. It doesn’t taste like traditional Beyond Meat, but that is very welcome! They seem to use Yves bacon strips for their “bac’n”, but they had an option of coconut bacon as well that I didn’t try. Their cheese is a vegan cheese called “Sheese”.

As my sides/desserts I just had to try their vanilla milkshake. All of their ice cream is CHICKPEA-based and it’s delicious. You need to try some sort of ice cream dessert. The vanilla milkshake was wonderful (added a picture). The second time I had to try one of their VMix (Blizzard/McFlurry-like dessert). I had the Cookies ‘n’ Cream flavour and it was wonderful. Little pieces of Oreo were mixed into the vanilla ice cream.

Overall, I can’t wait to go back and try something different!

Pros: Entire menu is vegan, Friendly staff, Short wait time

Cons: A little expensive

Amazing fast food! - Edit

The food was delicious and definitely satisfied my cravings for a greasy burger and cheese fries. I highly recommend the creamy mushroom burger, cheese fries, tater tots, and icecream sandwich.

Great food! - Edit

I had a bbq bac'n cheeseburger which was fantastic and onion rings that were pretty good! I also had a snickerdoodle sundae which was awesome. Will definitely be back.

Pros: Everything is vegan, lots of options, Great comfort food

Cons: Not a lot of space to wait for orders

Shocking how good “fast-food” could be. - Edit

We grabbed our food to go and had the burger with the coconut bacon and their take on a blizzard.... they were both outrageous good!

Superb Vegan Fast Food - Edit

Delicious vegan fast food! I had the lil Cheeseburger, the patty has a great spice to it and it was perfection with the cheese and pickles. Also tried the buffalo chick’in bites, chickpea fritters and onion rings. The buffalo chick’in bites weren’t the type of spice I like - tasted like Frank’s hot red sauce but the chickpea fritters and onion rings were delish. My hubby also had the Big Kahuna burger and really enjoyed it. He also liked the buffalo chick’in bites. And we both had a shake - sooo many options - I have to try them all. The size differences between the sundaes, shakes and v-mix is a little odd as the smalls are different sizes for each. But I’ll definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu!

Worth the wait! - Edit

Popped in to V Burger on its opening weekend and was quite pleased to see a line! Hopefully the buzz will continue as the business settles in. Had a Tropical V-Mix (their version of a Blizzard) with ice cream that was pleasantly not too rich, a saucy BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger (I'll omit the coconut bacon next time, it's not for me), and crispy onion rings - they were divine! Definitely satisfies those fast-food cravings.

Pros: TONS of options, it was overwhelming!

Cons: Sold out of Chick'n burgers and nuggets.

Great food, conveniently located on 17th Ave SW.

Pros: All Vegan. Enjoyed a vegan 'cheeseburger' and , fries with a mushroom gravy.

Great vibe & great food - Edit

Really love the well designed space, clean, bright and fun. Even the food packages are well designed. The burger menu is extensive with so many topping choices like bakun, cheese, mushrooms, etc etc. Great sides like cheese fries plus the best onion rings ever. Loved the chikin nuggets and the big variety of dips. The best part is the huge icecream selection with shakes, sundaes, cones, take home pints and blizzards.
