Wonderful experience - Edit
We came from Wpg And had to try this place out. It didn’t disappoint. The BBQ bac’n burger was amazing and the cauliflower bites hit the spot. My son enjoyed the chic’n nuggies so much we had to order some to take back to the hotel for later.

Highly recommend this establishment!!

Basic but Good - Edit
V burger has basic but good food, reasonable service, and a generic modern aesthetic. This place feels extremely safe in all of the chosen elements but somehow lacking.
Read moreI was able to try two mains: the ‘Cheddar Melt’ and the ‘Creamy Mushroom Burger.’ The Cheddar Melt was the best item I had at V Burger. The melt was lead by the flavours of the pickles and pickled jalapeños making the whole melt tart. The patty was slightly smokey and the bread was soft leaving the entire melt with an uninspired, soft mouth-feel. Though the star of the show was the cheese which was phenomenal, being some of the best melted cheese I’ve had. All-and-all the melt was a throughly enjoyable experience. The Creamy Mushroom Burger felt as though it only exists and nothing more. What I mean is it is an absolutely forgettable burger with nothing that held my attention for any significant time. The mushroom flavour was subdued in favour of the cheez that didn’t stand out. Making this dish rather bland.
I also got to try a couple of sides: the poutine and the onion rings. The onion rings were so crispy on the outside and the onion was perfectly cooked and soft leading to a succulent onion ring. The poutine is served with fries or tater tots (I had the tater tots) and it was a bit bland. Poutine should be an explosion of umami and the fries should be crispy to contrast the gooey accents of the cheese but, this is not what happened. The cheese was completely evaporated into the gravy and the tater tots were soft making it seem like a warm gravy soup that was verging on unpleasant.
The service was kind but inattentive leaving to a middling service. The establishment was wonderfully clean and the decor felt rather basic for an ‘upscale’ burger place but, I did particularly enjoy their choice in colour which lead to a nice levity of the entire restaurant. I hope this place can refine some of its rougher edges because then it would be a smash hit IMO.
Pros: Excellent cheese sauce, Great onion rings
Cons: Bland , Poor mouth-feel

Vegan DQ! - Edit
A veritable vegan DQ, with all the ice cream options you could dream of! Unique chickpea-based ice cream is super creamy and tastes exactly like dairy-based ice cream (or better, in my personal opinion)!

Its great if you want to feel ill after - Edit
The quality of their food has gone way down over the last year they have been open. They’re trying to attract new customers and investing all of their money into marketing rather than focusing on the quality of the food. Although it might be trendy and a great photo opt it’s not worth feeling ill after in my opinion. I worked at VBurger when it first opened for four months, I continued to eat there and enjoy the food. The first time I felt ill after eating VBurger I brushed it off thinking there was something else going on but after a few more times nothing changed and I continued to feel ill and was throwing up. Keep in mind, there is zero meat and dairy used in their kitchen so it could be the cooks not cleaning their hands, surfaces, utensils and so on correctly.

Will Be Back - Edit
The menu itself has quite a lot of options for food and it's nice to not worry about whether something is vegan or not. The nuggets and fries were a little salty for my taste but got a shake to help. Will be back to try some other menu items.

4.5 stars - Edit
It took these guys so long to open that we started (half-jokingly) questioning if it was really going to happen, which got us blocked from their Instagram. So that kind of put a sour taste in our mouths. When we went the first time I have to say I was disappointed- I could have sworn the ice cream was almond-based, which I don’t like. A few months later I tried again and it was WAY better! We were told they changed the machines, which changed the flavour. In any case, it’s amazing. SO good. And the cheesecake for the VMix is delicious. Also the toffee bits. Yum!! I ordered chik’n bites once and they were clearly Yves nuggets, which was a little disappointing (I like those a lot but it felt a little underwhelming for a fairly expensive meal out). Anyway, if you love(d) DQ, go here and you will not be disappointed. Also the staff are always very friendly.

Quality fast food - come hungry! - Edit
V burger offers guilt-free no-compromise vegan fast food - excellent quality, reasonable prices. We tried three different burgers and three different milk shakes and were really impressed! The burgers were thick, juicy, and the melted “cheese” & “bacon” added to the authentic burger feel you may be missing if you are new to vegan burgers. The milkshakes were beautifully presented and delicious! Be sure to try their own burger recipe when ordering - they also offer a national vegan brand burger as well but we felt their local recipe was superior.

Fast-food yummy - Edit
I heard about V Burger via Instagram and wanted to give it a try. The menu itself have a lot of options from burger to Ice cream. It's nice to not worry about whether something is vegan or not and you can also ask for gluten-free replacement (little extra $). I went twice and tried the creamy mushroom burger, the corndogs, dipped cone ice cream and the pecan popcorn Sundae. Everything was delicious, but remember it’s a fast food, a yummy one!

Burger okay, but ice cream great. - Edit
The burger was okay, but I was expecting a lot more. I was hoping the patty would be so flavourful as it is a fully vegan restaurant. Maybe it is only that burger that was not as good as the other ones. I love burgers a lot, however, this one was not as good as others I have tried. I also had the ice cream sandwich. The ice cream was really nice and was impressed with the texture. One of the best vegan ice cream I have had. The cookie was good but really really sweet. Loved how many options there were. If you go there, I would recommend the ice cream! The restaurant looks nice and the staff is kind.
