Amazing vegan food - Edit
Oh what a gem. This place has a vegan cheese board, excellent pizza and pasta. So so good. The waiters speak English and are very friendly and have a good humour. All in all a great evening.

Delicious takeaway - Edit
I was too tired to sit for a meal, so I ordered takeaway online. Order was ready super quick and was DELICIOUS vegan pizza. Their “mozzarella” was to die for.

Very good! - Edit
I’m a very awkward customer when it comes to Italian food, so the staff’s helpfulness and determination to find something I could eat was highly appreciated.
Read moreWe had the two gnocchi dishes and they were both very nice (especially the Parmesan). The Dubai cheesecake was a bit rich for me but also nice. Great vegan restaurant.

Excellent restaurant - Edit
Pizzas et pâtes délicieuses (je n’ai pas goûté le reste), assiettes très bien présentées, personnel très bienveillant et gentil. C’est un plaisir de trouver un vrai resto italien mais 100% vegan.

Delicious food but very expensive - Edit
The food was delicious especially the Carbonara which was one of the best vegan carbonaras I’ve ever had, however it was pretty expensive for what it was and the service was pretty slow but the restaurant was full. I would go again.

Filling and Unusual - Edit
Our meal at Utopia wasn’t cheap (which is very standard for Nice) and the menu was a bit confused but overall our meal was delicious. Staff really friendly (although not really enough of them to keep up with how busy it was). We were stuffed and couldn’t finish our pizza so got to take it home with us.
Read moreIt would be a real shame if this place closed as others have said it will, but it seems a lot of the vegan places in Nice have closed which is such a shame.
Pros: Extensive all vegan menu, Lovely hard working staff, Yummy fresh cooked food
Cons: Bit pricey (this is very standard in Nice), Service a bit chaotic when busy , Might be closing!!

Refreshing stuff - Edit
This place was very close to our stay. But, we had to make sure to get there on time as their working hours/days are a bit limited.
Read moreWe were quite confused since we didn't want to have mock meat, as I have always been a vegetarian. One of the servers who spoke English understood my concern and we finally chose the Contadina pizza, which she assured us was a good choice.
To my surprise, I loved it. Alongside, we also had the cereal fritters, which felt like a unique dish to us on its own.
Wanted to revisit, but they were shut again.
Advice : Please check their working time before visiting.
Pros: Food taste, Polite staff

Amazing pizza and lasagna - Edit
We went here for my birthday and they served me a perfect pizza and aperol spritz and the staff was very friendly and it was a neat and clean space to dine in. The prices are decent and the flavour and quality is definitely high! They make their own bacon and ham but also use products from Beyond Meat and La Vie. It is labelled on which dishes this is the case.
Read moreI got the primavera pizza and my husband got the Beyond sausage and potato white pizza and my mum got lasagna. We wire all very pleased with our food! We will definitely come back when we return to Nice!

Really good! - Edit
We came here twice because we enjoyed it, and there are not many fully vegan options left in Nice. Both nights we had a good meal. Great pizza crust and creative pizzas. I personally do not love beyond meat and find it left a strong flavour where they used it, but my husband loved. Definitely try the cheese plate!! The restaurant itself could use some updates to the space, but it was still a great place to visit.

Mostly pizza, but confirm ingredients - Edit
We had a super delicious cheese board and my partner had a delicious veggie plate (croquettes, salad, mixed roasted veg). I ordered the Diavolo pizza which said it had house made mozzarella, tomato basil and salame, however I was served a pizza with plain beyond meat hamburger. Thankfully they didn’t charge for it (I have grown to dislike the flavor of beyond meat hamburger), but they could have let me know when I was ordering that it would be served with a different meat substitute (and one that is nothing like salami). We had some quite good vegan salume at other vegan restaurants, so it can be done, but instead they’re using the least tasty fake meat, and trying to pass it off. The rest of the food was good.

Cons: Not much other than pizza, Passes off beyond meat ground beef as salami

Good vegan restaurant for pizza - Edit
We were super happy to find a 100% vegan restaurant in Nice.
Read moreThe ambience and Service people were exceptionally nice.
The food was good - could have been a bit better with the steep price though (pizza quatre fromage). However, the passion spritz was very tasty.
The lemon cheesecake was also delicious - i just didnt like the raw slices of lemon and lime as decoration, not sure what to do with these.

Overrated - Edit
We went there a few times with my partner to try different options and gave them a chance (also there’s not a lot of fully vegan restaurants in Nice) but the food is unfortunately overrated at this place… Prices are excessively high. The food is alright but nothing exceptional (especially for the prices charged).
Read moreThe positive note is that they have changed their dough and it no longer takes half the pizza and they stopped charging for tap water (not legal in France).

Go for the carbonara and the panacotta - Edit
My first impression of the food here was not that great but we went back and this time I had the Carbonara and panacotta and they were fantastic- pasta went so quickly and the panacotta was the best vegan one I’ve had.

Considering the price the food here should have much more flavour
Wide variety of options but I found the food lacked much flavour- i had to add quite a lot of salt.
Don’t get the cornucopia pizza or gnocchi

Vegan pizzas - Edit
One of the very few vegan restaurants in Nice. Unfortunately, veggies are not part of their menu. It's mainly pizzas and dishes with lots of carbs. The pizzas are delicious though and even the dough itself is super tasty. The black forest pie was very nicely arranged on the plate and delicious.
Read moreTwo things that I didn't like were that both times we visited last week, the staff cleaned something, or at least it smelled like they were using cleaning products, which was quite unpleasant. The other thing was that the menu isn't always that clear. E.g. I would assume that the Saltimburger has sage in it, however it wasn't written in the menu.

Big selection of vegan food - Edit
The pizza was not especially good, but it had a nice dough and good optics. I had the cornucopia pizza, which was described as a cone pizza. A bit more of staffage than taste for my bit, particularly the meat balls which were kind of more like falafels. The cheese was also not the best I have had. My friend had the chefs selection of gnocchi, and they were satisfied.

Leider mehr Schein als Sein - Edit
Tolle Idee – rein veganes Restaurant in Nizza!
Was ich mir wünsche:
• etwas mehr Großzügigkeit beim Belag
• eine bessere Auswahl bzw. Überarbeitung der veganen Käsealternativen
• und vor allem: fairere Getränkepreise
Ich hoffe sehr, dass Utopia sich in Zukunft in diesen Punkten weiterentwickelt, denn das Konzept ist wichtig und wertvoll – gerade in dieser Region. Für mich persönlich war es aber leider kein Ort, den ich erneut Mal besuchen würde.
