So-so - Edit
This was disappointing compared to the other meals we ate in Rome. The service was initially friendly and helpful suggesting vegan options as we sat down, but then became so slow we considered leaving, and had to work really hard to flag people down to order or get the bill. The food was nice but pricey compared to similar places we’ve eaten. The almond ricotta was a fun change to anything we’ve seen elsewhere, they made a tomato pasta, which wasn’t on the menu, and wasn’t so good compared to others (and I’ve tried many as a vegan in Italy!) It’s a nice setting but not worth the poor service, wouldn’t return.

Great food and wine - Edit
Urbana has a short menu, but still a few vegan options. Good to see vegan suppli on the list. We ordered a couple and they were much bigger than expected 😅
Read moreServing staff were friendly and fine with us just staying for a couple drinks and snack and not a full meal.
Pros: Suppli!

Tasty but rather expensive - Edit
The vegan options are not marked on the menu, so you have to enquire with the server. They advised me on the 3 - 4 options they had. I had the spaghetti with lentils which was one of the specials of the day and tasted really good. The service was quite fast at bringing the food, however it was expensive. The mains are almost €15 each, so for 2 mains, 2 alcoholic drinks and a pitcher of water it came to almost €50.

Yummy and helpful!! - Edit
Asked about vegan options and they adapted items on the menu. I had a bean stew and focaccia and it was lovely. They had a vegan cake for desert but I didn’t have it.

Great spot with good food. - Edit
This place is perfect for sitting having a drink and watching people go by down this charming section of the street. Vegan options are limited but they made us a pasta that wasn’t on the menu. Friendly staff but they are very busy so don’t expect to be in and out but this place isn’t for that anyways.

No place for vegans - Edit
There was no vegan option on the menu and while the waiter gave us 2-3 options ("this without that"), they weren't appealing at all. We left.

Decent options, helpful staff - Edit
The “allergens” are listed clearly on the menu, and you can ask for accommodations. I ordered the beans and escarole and requested “senza latte.” A decent high protein option.

Not a lot of options, expensive - Edit
The only vegan option was marinara pizza. When I asked if they can veganise some of the vegetarian dishes the waiter offered the hummus without yoghurt to me. I went for it. The hummus tasted ok but I barley had anything to eat it with. There were three tomatoes and two tiny slices of bread. It was not satisfying at all and it was really pricy too. I wouldn't go here as a vegan.
