I loved it - Edit
My partner and I really enjoyed our meal. I got the fresh tofu set, he got the mushroom soup set. We asked for a makjoeli recommendation and it was delicious.

Delicious and Vegan - Edit
Excellent food, very tasty. Once you find the place (see photos of entrance on other reviews, it is basement level small mall of about 8 other businesses), you can easily order on the electronic menu, select language, and have a page full of vegan options. Friendly staff, very clean, fresh and nicely-presented items.
Read moreIt was sweltering hot and I had a big bowl of kongguksu (soy milk noodle soup) which had a big ice cube in it to keep things chilled--so refreshing and tasty. The soup was creamy and cold, with a large serving of noodles. One of us had the tofu set with side dishes and enjoyed that, the other had the bulgogi set and said it was excellent.
Nice setting, clean and comfortable. Close to subway, and Sejong Center.
Pros: Delicious food, Full vegan menu page with several options, Clean restaurant and nicely presented food
Cons: Hard to find entrance

The best tofu ever ! - Edit
I had difficulty to find the restaurant, but just go into the underground and continue to walk. You have to order on a screen, the waiter will help you if you have no idea of what to order. The set was perfect, the soup delicious. Very filling meal and very healthy ! There was 2 sorts of tofu, one grilled and one scrambled, the scrambled one was the best tofu I have ever eaten ! Don't hesitate to go there if you want Korean food.

Good comforting food - Edit
I had the plain tofu soup which was really good. Communication was a bit hard as they didn't speak much English and the menu was only in Korean. But the food was good.

It shouldn't be surprising that a menu in Korea is written in Korean, without any English - and it shouldnt be a surprise that the staff don't speak English. As the tourist, you're able to use a translation app - and maybe come prepared with some language basics.

Yum! - Edit
I tried the mushroom perilla soft tofu and it was soo good. I love anything perilla. The guy working said all the sides he served me were vegan and nothing tasted fishy so it seemed legit. As always, I totally appreciate clearly labeled options. I’d eat here again.

Soft Tofu/Makgeolli place with Vegan on menu - Edit
Was happily surprised to see a local tofu/makgeolli place put Vegan options on their menu. Place was crowded with regulars but not sure how many were opting for vegan.
Read moreI tried the soft tofu set (which is clearly marked vegan on top of menu). It was very good. I was a but unsure about one of the side dishes even though they insisted it was vegan. No big deal as had other sides to enjoy. Will come back to try other options as this lunch was good and a decent value for downtown business area.
This is also in same basement area as BB Coffee so perfect location to pick up a coffee after lunch!
Update: Tofu is still great but sides are more limited now. You are basically stuck with whatver sides of the day are, even if they are not vegan. Kimchi is not vegan here and small fish are sometimes offered as side dish even when order vegan. Just decline them when they offer.
