Wow! (DoorDash Delivery Order) - Edit
Didn't really expect much here, considering the other vegan chinese places we've tried in the area. But this blew us away! The General Tsos Tofu and Chow Mei Fun were absolutely incredible, and both are vegan (and peanut free) as is! Called in to double check a couple of allergies and the worker was super kind, helpful, and even offered to help us come up with solutions for dishes we couldn't eat.
Read moreThough I will say, I'd pass on the spring rolls- they left a bit to be desired.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Edit
It’s nice being able to order most things on the menu, but nothing we had stood out to me as being something I’d particularly want to order again. To be fair, I ordered through a delivery service so that does lessen the quality of the food somewhat (the ribs, for example, might’ve been crisp if I’d had them in restaurant). The prices were not terrible compared to many of the Philly restaurants I tried while visiting.

Perfect - Edit
Outstanding Chinese. Fresh, flavorful, delicious. The As-You-Wish chef special with pea leaves was lovely. Perfectly cooked, rich vegetable with excellent freshly cooked mushrooms wrapped in crispy tofu skin. Mostly vegan menu, all vegetarian, clearly marked. Nice staff, too.

Great vegan dim sum - Edit
Three of us ordered all dim sum. There are many choices and all were very good. The Gold and Jade on the specialty entrees had very tasty roasted tofu. Will definitely be coming back.

A delightful experience - Edit
We ate at Unit Su Vege in Philadelphia for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it! It is an entirely vegan/vegetarian Chinese restaurant with the majority of items being vegan. They also have gluten free items, too. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Although my husband would have preferred his dish be spicier, he still really liked it and agreed that it was a place he would like to come back to eat at again.
Read morePros: A wonderful variety of options , The vegetables tasted fresh and flavorful , Friendly and attentive service
Cons: Meals marked with spice symbol could be spicier, Street parking could be an issue, No alcohol, if that matters to you

Good Vegan Options - Edit
The fried rice and shu mai were the best out of what we ordered and I really enjoyed both. I would not order the soup dumplings again, though. Parking in the area was atrocious so we ended up parking at nearby Whole Foods.

What a great treat to find so many vegan dim sum options. They clearly label their menu and it is EXTENSIVE. Everything we had was delicious so if you’re craving dim sum, this is absolutely the place to go.

Weren't sure what to expect when we randomly ordered from the menu. Everything was fantastic and I had to go back and make sure they didn't miss anything when I saw the total! So reasonably priced!

Amazing Chinese - Edit
The food at Unit Su Vege is so good it will convert your carnivorous friends. I highly recommend anything from their Dim Sum menu as well as the General Tsao's Tofu, and fried rice. Whenever I've eaten there, I haven't felt rushed and the staff are so kind. I'm always able to enjoy a pot of tea and whatever food I order at a pace that feels comfortable. And they've never once gotten a takeout order incorrect either!

Finally , vegan dim sum - Edit
It's great to have a vegan dim sum restaurant, there used to be one located in Chinatown but the owners retired. As many mentioned, the menu is not 100% vegan but GF and V items are clearly marked.

Incredible faux meat - Edit
I tried the shumai, Shanghai dumplings, BBQ, and kung pao buns. Everything was amazing but the kung pao buns were spectacular and the BBQ “meat” actually has a crispy “skin” that would fool a meat-eater. #Veganuary

The real deal - Edit
I've been to Unit Su Vege five times now, and each time I feel it just gets better. It's wonderful having a dim sum option where you don't have to specify vegan. I've yeat to try something I didn't like, and the staff are friendly and willing to recommend dishes if you can't decide.

Vegans would appreciate this menu. Please check it out. Vegan or gluten free items are clearly marked. There are tons of appetizers. We have a favorite entree (see photo). When I get tired of ordering it I'll explore the rest of the menu.

Not 100% vegan but pretty close - Edit
This restaurant is not 100% vegan but they clearly labeled a few options that are not vegan that have eggs in them, for example the lo mein noodles have eggs and some options have dairy. Everything with a V next to the name is vegan. I would recommend getting the vegan dim sum options and the vegan entrees. We tried several dishes and everything was tasty. They offer brown and white rice with the entrees. These are small plates to share. I would recommend getting about 6-7 dishes for 2 people.

Tofu magic! - Edit
Seriously some of the best tofu I’ve ever eaten; it was crispy and perfect. We got the sesame tofu and general tsos tofu lunch specials. Only $9.75 and comes with rice, spring roll, and soup. The perfect amount of food before tackling the epic Barnes Foundation. The dim sum menu looks incredible; hoping to return for that on this trip or the next!
