Nice people who served us meat :,( - Edit
The women running this restaurant were very nice, it they served us meat even after we asked about vegetarian/vegan menu items. The lady pointed out three items and we chose one each. I got the Japanese noodles and my husband got the bean sprout soup; mine came with some sort of fish in it and his had a melange of fish and meats at the bottom. He’s more willing to eat around meat when that happens for food waste issues than I am, so we only returned mine.
Read moreThey were super apologetic and replaced it right away, but because it was a broth-based dish I was feeling paranoid that the broth wasn’t vegan either. It didn’t taste non-vegan but I was worried so I mostly ate the noodles and avoided the soup itself.
The food was incredibly simple. The Japanese noodles were just noodles (seemed like udon), broth, and scallion. My partner’s soup, once he ate around all the secret meat, was just bean sprouts, broth, egg, and rice (so for a vegan would be broth, sprouts, and rice). The women were so lovely and sweet but it’s really not a great place for vegans at all.

Lovely lady that speaks good english, just ask what dishes are or can be made vegan and she will do it. I ordered the Japanese’s Noodle soup and it was very tasty.
