Bagels are also vegan and has vegan cream cheese, as well as tempeh bacon. Breakfast vegan offerings of soysage bagel and viva la vegan (w tofu egg). Lunch vegan offerings of vegan banh mi, bbq tempeh wrap and crunchy vegan salad with tempeh. Soy and almond milk, also. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-3:00pm.

Love this place! - Edit
I got the Vegan Rad bagel and it was super tasty! The worker told me the owners are vegan and that virtually everything can be made vegan. I’m not sure why they choose to have nonvegan food here then if the owners are vegan but I’m so grateful for all the options and the coffee is so good too!!

I love a good bagel and Ultra has just that. The Viva La Vegan comes with vegan cream cheese, tofu egg, and tempeh. It's warm, soft, and has a great flavor. I opted for the garlic and herb cream cheese. They also have plain and jalapeno. Don't expect to get full though. It's not an option for a meal, unless you get 2. :-)
Read moreI planned to order an iced latte but they no longer offer soy (my only choice for coffee). They only have oat and almond. So I got a La Croix instead and they charge $2.25 a piece. Ouch.

We tried this place because we needed to grab a quick bite and Oh My Goodness! Viva La Vegan was awesome! It has vegan cream cheese, tofu eggs and tempeh bacon on an everything bagel. We got a side of avocado. Sooooo good! Coffee rocks too.

They have a great vegan breakfast sandwich and several vegan sandwiches lunch options as well as delicious coffee drinks that can be made dairy free. Great local place with a laid back vibe. Very reasonably priced as well.

Lot's of vegan options! - Edit
Very hard to decide what to get with all the options. I got viva la vegan and it was delicious everything bagel with vegan cream cheese, tofu egg, tempeh bacon. They also have an avacado toast with balsamic drizzle and pickled onions I tried from my daughters plate and it was great also. Can't wait to go back and try more.

The vegan banh mi is my go to fav but there is also a bbq tempeh wrap.
The employees are super friendly. And even though there are several coffee shops in AVL, Ultra beats them all for best latte.

Cons: People smoke in the outdoor seating, Parking can be tricky at busy times, Customers have dogs off leash in outdoor seating
