We had a mix of mapo tofu, fried vegetables (water spinach), mapo tofu with noodles and dumplings.
Read moreOrdered some rice because it was spicy due to the szechuan pepper.
We also tried the special: dessert: shaka dragonfruit icecream.

This was so good! Incredibly many different dishes, they all look SO good, the ones we had were all SO delicious, and perfectly sized and fairly priced portions. Nice atmosphere, ordering is very uncomplicated through a terminal. Will definitely go again and try all the other stuff on the menu!!

Great tasty delicious food! The restaurant is quite big and it has a nice atmosphere. They have a lot of great dishes and we wanted to try them all, sadly not possible. The dishes we had were really good! They have a machine to order the food. The staff was really friendly! Highly recommended!

What an amazing vegan Taiwanese place! Food was excellent, we had the mapo tofu vegan set and it was mecha oishi! It's in old Osaka as well, cool place to explore. Highly reccomend!

Sehr leckeres veganes Essen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss ist richtig gut. Vor allem empfehlenswert sind die Frühlingsrollen. Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt, aber die Frühlingsrollen waren die Besten. Der Inhaber sehr nett. Coole Ordermaschine.

Didn't turn me away coming in late - Edit
Rushed to this place as it was closing but the owner took kindly to this starving vegan, and made the most delicious rice and chicken dish, keeping the restaurant open nearly 30 mins past the closing time. The walls had testimonials from happy customers and I whole heartedly support the sentiments written there.

I love the portion sizes, the price and the taste. I was very hungry before I came in, and now I'm full. I'm grateful to have this vegan restaurant so close to where I'm staying. I can't wait to visit again and again!

The staff spoke some English and showed me how to order what I wanted. For me, it's definitely a new way of ordering food.

We went here early and were the only ones there so the service was so quick. When you get there you order on a machine which makes it easy and you hand that to the staff. Everything is vegan so don’t get confused by the labelling of dishes. We loved the dumplings and fried soy meat balls.

All vegan Tawainese restaurant, order through the ticket machine. You can order 5 items at a time through machine (we did 2 orders of 10 total to try lots of meals!). Chef speaks some English. Tasty and filling portions, one of my favourite meals in Japan!

Visited this vegan resturant today 23Nov2023 after researching from the internet. They sell awesome oriental vegan food and was so delicious! Price was reasonable too. Will definitely visit again before we go back to Singapore.

You order at a kiosk by the front door. Cash only. I got mapo tofu, steamed dumplings, and a side order of the fried chicken. I wasn’t big on the fried chicken, but the other two things were good.

He gave us a dessert on the house while we were waiting for the food, and also gave an extra rice pack!

Amazing Food at the Best Prices - Edit
I stayed just down the street from this place and ate there twice (would have eaten every night, but they are closed Monday/Tuesday). Everything I had was excellent, if you get rice or noodle you shouldn't miss out on the dumplings (get one order per person!).
Read moreI think Saijiki is the best value of any vegan restaurant I have been to. You get more food than average for each yen and the quality was superb. Nice environment with seating for fifteen or so. A hidden gem in what one of my Japanese friends called a 'slum' (any American who has spent time in a major city would find this slum adorable at worst).

There was a lot of options on the menu. I personally didn't think the soup I had was anything to write home about and nor did my partner Tofu noodles.

We came twice during our stay. We had the yakibishu, some rice, toon noodles, dumplings, chicken sticks, chicken breast, a soup (Im not sure if I recall the names correctly). And some canned drinks.

Came late in the evening both times, not many other people were present.
