Thoroughly enjoyed the Golden Sesame Tantanmen - Edit
We went here after a day of shopping in Ikebukuro and tried the Golden Sesame Tantanmen set, which came with seasoned rice and a soy milk dessert. We ordered some fried soy meat as an extra. Everything was served quickly and was very delicious. The Tantanmen was so creamy and flavourful. We enjoyed it very much - to the extent that we also went to their Tokyo station restaurant during our stay. We also took a set of 4 cup noodles with us, which came in handy, when we left Tokyo to travel to a rural mountain town with few vegan options (thanks to another reviewer for the suggestion!).

I definitely must try if in Tokyo - Edit
one of the best restaurants I have visited in Japan. Love their combo and Ramen. We also got some cup noodles for our travel and they definitely did come in very handy when traveling to some regional towns. The service was amazing and so was the food. I would definitely recommend these 10 or 10 if you are in Tokyo Station..

Delicious vegan ramen - Edit
The restaurant is located inside the ticket gates of the station. There is a screen at the entrance of the restaurant where you place your order and you go pick it up at the counter when it's ready.
Read moreI visited the place twice and tried the black sesame tantan set (1450¥) and golden tantan (1100¥). Both were delicious but I definitely prefer the golden tantan.
Be aware that there are two separate buttons for the ramen set and just the ramen when you're ordering. Sets include a small rice dish and dessert.
The food was really delicious and I would 100% recommend the place. They also sell their vegan cup noodles there.

Located inside Ikebukuro station (JR), so if you are not taking any train, you will still have to pay an entrance fee 150 yen per 2 hours (deducted automatically at the gate)

Excellent Vegan Ramen, Quick & Easy - Edit
Once we found it (near Central Gate 1, you need to pay to get through the turnstiles) it was well worth it! Order at the machine and pick up at the counter when it’s ready. We had their Golden Sesame Ramen (peanut buttery and rich) and Yuzu Ramen (light and lemony) and both were delicious. We added soy meat, coriander, and vegan cheese. We also got the “meal” that came with rice and strawberry yogurt for dessert. Highly recommend! We visited in the early afternoon on a week day in September and it was half full. It’s also stroller friendly for those traveling with a toddler or baby.

The location is a bit tricky to find inside the station but easy to spot once you manage to find it. You order from a digital counter which is pretty simple to use.

It was a bit hard to find since the train station is so huge. It is near the Central Gate 1 entrance. There were plenty of free tables at 18.30 and the ramen came quickly. We had the golden sesame and the white sesame ramen, both were delicious. You order them at a machine inside the restaurant and then wait in your seat until your order number comes on the screen as ready.

This location is much (MUCH) more cramped than the one in Tokyo Station. If you can pick, I'd visit that one instead. Just like with the other location YOU NEED A TRAIN TICKET. Even if you're going nowhere, you need to scan your IC, it'll charge you a nominal amount upon exit.

Reserve a seat first and then order your ramen from the machine. There were multiple options, some of which sold out since we came late in the evening (9pm). We had the golden sesame ramen with soy protein. Quick, easy and delicious!

Peu de choix, pas de gyozas ici.
Un curry Massala vegan, des ramens vegan et quelques "nuggets vegans" avec un dessert type flan vegan avec du miel de sucre noir.
On y mange rapidement et bien, très peu d'attente même en période rush.
C'est bon état pratique
Quand on rentre sur la gauche on choisi ce que l'on souhaite, on paie, on reçoit son reçu et surtout son ticket avec le numéro de sa commande qui sera appelée par ordre d'arrivée, puis on va se placer à une table le temps que notre numéro soit appelé.
Là, on va au comptoir chercher sa commande, son plateau avec verre, couverts, eau et serviette
Minimaliste et efficace!

This place is perfect for what it is: a quick stop noodle bar for vegans. It's just inside the JR Line gates (about 40m after the turnstiles look right). Despite the busy Friday night there was only a short queue for the ordering machine (easy to use) and plenty of seats (there two large tables seating 6 each and some solo seating at the back). 5-10 min wait and then delicious tonkotsu ramen. Really, really good ramen.

T’s tan tan ramen is always one of our first stops when we are in Tokyo!! They also have one of their chain restaurants at Narita airport T1 (but inside after customs) which is super convenient because there is ZERO vegan options there apart from combini onigiri and the Starbucks vegan donuts. They also sell T’s instant cup noodles which are perfect to take on a veganless Jetstar flight home!

You have to enter the JR Lines to get to this restaurant! Other than that it's great, you order via a machine (English language available) at the entrance and hand in the ticket at the counter. Many additional options to chose from and definitely an easy and possibly quick meal.
