Delicious vegan pizza - Edit
Any veg pizza can be made vegan with vegan mozzarella and adding vegan pepperoni or impossible taco crumbles. We thoroughly enjoyed the veggie turned vegan and add plant based pepperoni. Excellent crust and many veggies

The hype is real - Edit
This pizzeria is probably the most famous one in SF and for a reason. There’s always a huge line and in our case it was no different. So you get in line and then can check online how the line is progressing and when your estimated time for sitting down will be. On the menu vegetarian pizzas and other dishes are marked with a leaf and you can substitute cheese for vegan cheese for 4$ extra or there are two fully vegan pizzas on the menu in which now the vegan cheese is already included in the price. And it’s pricey, but the dough is great and my Mission Impossible pizza was a nice change from a normal vegan Margherita or vegetable pizza that you can get elsewhere.

Best vegan pizza ever! - Edit
Two amazing vegan options on their menu including vegan cheese and plant based pepperoni and chorizo. We had the Spicy Pianta and it was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. Great location too. Loved Tony’s😄

Incredible vegan pizza - Edit
We went here for lunch on New Years Day and had a lengthy wait for a table but it was totally worth it. There are two pizzas with plant based meats and then other vegetarian pizzas across the menu. You can ask to change the cheese to vegan cheese on any pizza at an additional charge. I went for the pepper plant pizza which had incredibly flavourful and deliciously spiced vegan pepperoni on it. The dough was incredible, the sauce tangy and generously applied and the vegan cheese melty and gooey. One of the best pizzas I've had since going vegan. Be warned, it's pretty expensive but worth it as a treat

down to earth and yummy vegan pizza - Edit
I recently went to Tony's Pizza Napoletana with my beloved. We arrived around 6pm and had an hour wait to get a seat. We were seated near the bar with two televisions showing college football and major league baseball.
Read moreTony's has several different ovens and does many different styles of pizza on offer. Many of them can be made vegan.
We went with the Spicy Planta vegan pizza. This came with tomato sauce vegan cheese, vegan chorizo and vegan pepperoni, banana peppers, cholla hot sauce, Serrano peppers, Calabrese peppers, oregano, and garlic oil.
We also got a shareable salad aka the Little Italy that came with mixed greens, olives, walnuts, EVOO, balsamic vinegar, and cherry tomatoes.
The pizza was very good and the crust was near perfect. There wasn't too much vegan cheese on the pizza yet that worked out fine because the toppings took center stage and were really good especially the vegan pepperoni along with the Serrano peppers to give it a kick.
Glad we got the salad as it was a good size portion and perfect for sharing.
Tony's isn't hipster which was a good thing. This restaurant is really down to earth and authentic. We both enjoyed the vibe and had a pulse as was busy and lively. Service was friendly.
We will definitely return at some point.
Pros: down to earth and yummy vegan pizza , lively atmosphere

Our Sicilian exchange student helped order authentic Napoletana pizza. We enjoyed outside eating with heaters nearby. Great staff!

We had to come back before our student went home. Delicious! We got the Coccoli with artichoke hearts, olives, and tomato spread as well as a Margarita and a Vegetable Pizza, Naples style.

Absurdly expensive - Edit
We spent about $40 for one single 12 inch pizza. There was a $4 surcharge for vegan cheese. It was a good pizza but nothing special, and I’m still hu fry.

Good pizza (for America) with a few options dotted about. - Edit
Good Neapolitan pizza and can sub vegan cheese (or just have classic marinara). Few other vegan options on menu such as the fried dough stater “Coccoli” which was very tasty and new for us. Seems expensive for pizza but consistent with American prices.
Read morePros: Reasonably authentic Neapolitan style pizza, Can sub vegan cheese, Nice bustling atmosphere at 6:30pm on Sunday
