The worst thing was that no tomato and basil sauce arrived for the ravioli.
I received abuse from the man answering the phone, he said he had personally put together my meal, I asked for refund, he said you ordered thru Uber so you have to get refund from Uber. I replied that he put together my order, didn’t include sauce and that he would be getting the 85.00 from Uber!
He slammed phone down on me!
Not impressed, never will I order/visit/ buy anything from this Tommy Sugo Cafe Nedlands. Disgusting

Calling all veg*n uni students! - Edit
This place is in a great location; in the Broadway Fair shopping centre, and about 5 mins walk from the University of Western Australia. Naturally, this means that the shopping centre can get a little busy during the lunch rush (around 12-1). Be mindful of this.

I've been here twice, once as a vegetarian and once as a vegan. I tried their cheese arancini balls and they were amazing; very indulgent!
As a vegan, I ordered zucchini noodles with a chickpea tomato sauce and I remember thinking first that for the amount of pasta they give you, it's very good value for money! The other thing I thought was that the pasta sauce was unbeatable! Of all the Italian restaurants I've been to in Perth, I've never had a tomato based sauce that was as flavourful as the one at Tommy Sugo's. Would give 3.5 stars if I could. My only gripe is that I wish they had more vegan options :-/
Edit 15/11/20: It appears that they've raised the prices since I last visited on 7/11/20. Not such great value for money anymore, but not too expensive either though.
If you're a veg*n uni student at UWA and don't have the time to bring food from home/are tired of eating the uni food, definitely pay a visit to Tommy Sugo's!

My mother asked me to do a review. She is not computer literate...she hates computers! She wanted to place an online home delivery of Tommy Sugo cook at home range but panicked as she or not good on line. So she called them and they were onto too happy to organise the order over the phone. Helpful and caring and delicious pasta!

Good Easy Winner - Edit
Simple, tasty, all made by their family. Done with care, lots of flavour especially the cheese arancini. Had the spaghetti and Tommy Sugo sauce, good size for the cost. Kids are the macaroni bolognase. Nothing left in their plate. Good easy winner. Fed the troops at a reasonable price and happy faces afterwards. It’s a tick from me

Mid week quick and easy dinners. - Edit
Great little spot. What the store lacks in size they make up in flavour. It’s our go to for mid week quick and easy dinners. I usually order it pop up stairs for some shopping in the iga and come down and it’s ready. Easy parking too. Love it!

Tommy Sugo is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. There spaghetti with the Tommy Sugo name sake did it for me! Smashed a few of the 5 cheese arancini too.
