Tomaselli is centrally located and usually very busy – clearly a popular spot in Innsbruck. That’s why it’s all the more disappointing that, even after all these years, they still only offer fruit sorbets as vegan options.
Read moreIf you’re into fruity flavors, the sorbets are fine – refreshing and decent in taste. But for anyone hoping for creamy, nut-based, or more creative vegan choices, this won’t be satisfying.
Sadly, there aren’t really better vegan ice cream alternatives in Innsbruck at the moment, so Tomaselli remains an option – but only if you’re okay with very limited variety

Where I come from there are rarely vegan ice cream options so I was very happy to find these 5 vegan fruity flavours! Got big scoops, very tasty. They had it clearly labeled vegan, so that was nice, but the shop targets non-vegans.

Like many of the previous reviews states, the place did not have many vegan flavors and was more catered to non-veg costumers. However, the vegan flavors were clearly marked and were really good!

The place had three vegan options when we visited (green apple, strawberry, lemon). They were good and the waffles were vegan too. 😋

The ice cream creations look very delicious, but just the fruit ice cream is vegan, just like at every other place. They don't even have vegan dark chocolate ice cream except at some time as "ice cream of the week". I hope for a bigger variety in the future, especially for nuts and chocolate!

the vegan declaration for some ice options is a bit misleading as it's only vegan in a cup, the waffles are not vegan. Ice is great though, super creamy and delicious!

Great and creative ice cream varieties, but the efforts for vegans are still very limited. Although some types of ice cream are labeled as "vegan", they are usually vegan per se (fruit ice cream). And then unfortunately there are no vegan waffles. Too bad - the potential is not used!
