Unclear vegan label

I tried several dishes, started with cold shredded tofu, ravioli and finished with spicy soup.
Everything was clearly labelled as vegan, so no question asked and we ordered.
Problem is, when the soup came, it had an egg with it.. 3 vegan soups on the table, 3 eggs… the waitress apologised by saying « some veggie people eats egg » and she brought back the soup to the kitchen, redone it and bring it back with more tofu.
But it was labelled vegan, it shouldn’t contains eggs. So, I’m unclear on their definition of veganism, I can’t assure the noodle itself were vegan, I am not sure if the restaurant is mixing vegetarian, vegan and so on…
The price was very low and the food very generous and good but…. I did not felt « safe » to eat after the incident.

Cons: Unclear Vegan label, Vegan dishes contains eggs

Good food

This small Asian restaurant offers a range of vegetarian and vegan options at a particularly low price for Paris. The food is fairly classic and well done, with tasty and generous portions. The only small problem is that the dishes that have a vegan logo can be vegetarian. I had this problem with a spicy noodle soup, which was covered with a fried egg. The waitress apologised and immediately had the dish redone. And kindly added more tofu to the soup to replace the egg. So don't hesitate to specify that you are vegan and therefore don't eat eggs.

Pros: Generous portion, Friendly staff, Low price

Cons: Not so clear about vegan dish
