Good food and good location - Edit
Large menu with a range of options - would recommend the soy ‘beef’ lemongrass or the soy ‘chicken’ sweet and sour as that is what we had. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff and well located.

Amazing Pho and Banh Mi - Edit
We stopped here for an early dinner on our last evening in Hue, we wish it was our first evening as we wanted to come back again. I had the Pho with mock chicken and my husband had Banh Mi. Both absolutely delicious, and unusually for us we ate slowly to savour every bite!

not bad, not great - Edit
we were looking forward to the vegan pho soup. it was not bad, but not so great either. the fried jackfruit was not really fried, just steamed (or cooked?) and not very seasoned. overally, the dishes were good but not one of the best ones

Great feed, hard to find?? - Edit
Absolutely delicious, the address is wrong on happy cow or something so we went to the wrong place. The correct address is 12 Chu Văn An, Phú Hội, Huế, Thừa Thiên Huế 530000, Vietnam which is what it is on Google maps.

Good options, good price! - Edit
Tasty food, reasonably priced. Definitely worth a quick stop for lunch on a fairly busy street. Pineapple juice was a bit of a let down, but chocked fried rice and pho were very tasty and quite cheap.

I had the lemongrass “chicken” and banh loc rice cakes. Enjoyed both dishes. Nice comfortable restaurant to eat, wasn’t too busy on my visit.

Does Not Exist! - Edit
What are people talking about? This place is gone. At the same location is a meat restaurant with a vegan menu, called Red Chili. We met other people there who tried to find Tinh Tam but it doesn’t exist as a separate restaurant any more.

Hi Andrea, The location is next to Vina Center Hotel on Nguyen Cong Tru, a short walk from the bridge. There’s something weird going on with their Google Maps pin showing two locations. I went yesterday and it was definitely open and the directions took me to the correct place. I’ll send a request to get it fixed. Please try again to visit if you have time, I enjoyed my meal there.
Read moreandrea
Ok but how would anyone find it when it’s the wrong address on both Google and HC? This doesn’t make sense. And the people at Red Chili said yes, that place is them now. (Maybe just to keep a customer, but the menu does sound the same)

Some one requested the marker on Google Maps and it automatically approved it (maybe a competitor, who knows?)

Yes, what I’ve seen of this country so far, I believe it. Thank you for trying to work this out!

The Google address for this place is wrong but Happy cow came to the rescue. Pretty simple restaurant with lots of vegan food to offer. The soy meat replacement is great. The atmosphere is a little dead but it’s great for a quick stop

Didn’t understand the hype - Edit
I was so confused from all the reviews as we found the food to be very underwhelming. We couldn’t eat the spring rolls as they were just batter and no filling and tasted of old fryer oil so strange! The tofu in tomato sauce was the nicest dish but I’ve had so much nicer food across Vietnam in similar family style restaurants for the same price or less. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Pros: The tofu in tomato sauce was ok
Cons: Rice was cold and dry , Spring rolls were not nice at all , Noodles had a strange taste and didn’t seem fresh

Lots of choice, big portions - Edit
We went twice while we were in Hue. First I had the chicken fried rice, which was huge and tasty. Next, I had the lemongrass and chilli tofu - this isn't spicy, but one of the best things I've eaten while we've been in Vietnam, definitely recommend this! I also tried the Phó, it was okay but there are tastier things to get! My partner loved the fried spring rolls and fried noodles.

Nice food with local dishes - Edit
I really enjoyed the lemongrass tofu and the banh beo (a local hue dish). Only downside were the fried noodles with soy chicken and veggies, the veggies still seemed a bit dirty and the flavour I found a bit random (maybe the oil they used?) My partner liked it though so maybe just not for my taste! The soy chicken they used was good too, so would have liked to try in a different dish. The menu is very mock meat forward so if you don't like mock meat this might not be the place for you, but they did still have veg/tofu dishes.
