Fantastic and authentic Egyptian food with loads of delicious vegan options

One of the friendliest cafés in Glasgow. Wonderful food with an equally wonderful atmosphere. The half Egyptian breakfast is delicious and an absolute steal (the whole breakfast is unbelievably huge).

Pros: The food, The staff , The prices

Authentic Falafel!!!

The owner and staff are lovely and so welcoming. Service with a smile, indeed! We were made to feel very welcome. Authentic falafel, beautiful fresh hummus with chickpeas and olive oil, Foul Madamas garnished with olives and red onion, warm homemade pitta bread

Lots of options

A nice independent cafe with lots of vegan options. I’d say over half the menu but unfortunately just one vegan cake option when I went. I have attached the full menu.

Tasty food and friendly owner!

I got an aubergine and chip sandwich and a piece of baklava

Grateful & happy tummies

5 star reviews are reserved for only fully veggie or vegan establishments on Happy Cow but this place really deserves 5 stars for its Vg & Ve options alone.

An extremely hearty, flavoursome & nourishing offering.
Plus a welcome break from the trendy junk food scene.
Makes this cafe feel authentic & down to earth.

The staff too are lovely & welcoming.
A great place to escape the bustle of Patrick, grab some moreish food or pick up some Egyptian sticky, nut-loaded pastries to enjoy later.

Can't wait to visit again.

Pros: Wholesome food , Happy staff , Convenient location
