Friendly, helpful staff! - Edit
Some staff spoke English and the menu is in English with many pictures too. Lots of mock meats, including seafood. The to-go kiosk is on the ground but go up escalators to restaurant. Vegan items not clearly marked.

Fantastic restaurant, one of the highlights of our HK trip! - Edit
Buddhist vegetarian cuisine. We had copious dim sum, and came back for a second meal. We then bought extra to take home! Delicious cuisine, and while not entirely vegan, there are lots of vegan options, and we had no issues communicating our needs in English.

Hongkong Chinese local - Edit
Seems like a restaurant only visited by locals. It’s huge inside the center on 4th floor and not to miss once going up.
Read moreVery traditional style of food and decor. Very bustling and loud, but has charm that way. Waitress always busy so you need to make them aware where you are (think that’s generally normal here anyway). 10% service charge added to bill. Menu without English translation and not pictures. Google translate helps.
Dishes are perfect for sharing.
We ordered three for two people which was definitely more than enough.
8317) pepper 95$ fish
8201) meat bowl
8313) sweet and sour peach monkey mushrooms
Lots of food! Meat bowl I’d definitely order again all differently marinated and great value
Sweet and sour was really sweet and heavy, but nice with crunchy pepper and the peaches turned out to fit well
Fish also good and crunchy outside. Sauce seemed similar to the sweet and sour though. Was hoping for more spices than sugar
Tea is available upon request (I think non complimentary ) also some peanuts
Went here cause other restaurant was closed on holidays.
Overall good, but wouldn’t say I have to go again!
Pros: Transitional setting , Fish 8317 and meat bowl 8201, Huge portions
Cons: No wifi or English menu or pictures , Very sweet style of cooking (which is normal?)

Unspectacular Dim Sum That Does Just About Enough - Edit
We ordered a number of dim sum dishes and were surprised by how affordable they were and how large the portions were. Technically, everything was prepared was rather well, if a little subdued when it came to the flavours expected. It was tasty but almost overly-filling for what we ordered.
Read moreThe interior of this branch is definitely on the shabby side and not in-keeping with the intended style of the restaurant in terms of his service and how staff are presented. It could do with a bit of sprucing up.
An issue we did have was being seated right next to where the service team were stacking empty plates to prepare for washing and they certainly did not make any effort to do this quietly, in fact, they almost seemed to go out of their way to make as much noise as possible! There were other tables available, so surprised we were seated there but, even if there weren't, more awareness of their diners would've been welcomed.
Would like to go back to try some more of the menu, but as far as solely dim sum goes, it's an adequate fix rather than something to go out of your way for.
Pros: Portion Size Is Unusually Huge., Affordable Menu Options. Very Filling.
Cons: Interior And Service Are Lacklustre., Flavours Are A Bit Lacking., Not A Very "Special" Dining Experience.

I tried to eat at Light Vegetarian (across the street). See my review of Light for that weird experience. Came across to Three Virtues and had a delicious lunch and encountered friendly service. Highly recommended.

Dim Sum anyone? - Edit
One of my favourite places for vegan dim sum. We always made sure to come every time we visited. Now that we live here, this place is on our rotation. Authentic and not too greasy. If you're in a hurry, try out their little takeaway counter down on ground level. I find myself picking up some delights every now and then for dinner at home.

Very good vegetarian food - Edit
Not vegan. They serve food without garlic and onion but may contain eggs. Only drawback is the staff mostly speaks Chinese so could be difficult to communicate exactly what you want if you don't know Chinese. Otherwise, it's one of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong. The variety of dishes would amaze you and you'd have a hard time deciding what you want!

Amazing dim sum/bakery/takeaway counter - Edit
We didn’t; eat in the restaurant but picked up various dim sum/ steamed/baked goods a few times throughout our stay. We asked which things contained egg and milk and it turned out that around 70% I were SFV :). Such a great variety to choose from and freshly made each day! By the end, the staff whew giggling at how much we kept coming back!

Big, clean restaurant on the fourth flour of a building with more restaurants. Staff is efficient but not unfriendly. They do not really speak English, but they understood us. The table sizes are good, not cramped.
Read moreStaff asked us if we wanted tea, which we did.
There is a lot of mock meat on the menu, but we chose tofu with zucchini and a dish of eggplant and green beans and rice. Good food, it is a pity they don't use garlic. I would return.

Cons: No garlic used, A lot of mock meat

Go Here for Dim Sum - Edit
I've been here for morning Dim Sum and for lunch a few times. I much prefer the Dim Sum experience, so that's what I'll talk about.
Read moreFirst of all, note that when I've been, no one spoke English. I had to get by with my basic Mandarin (even though it's Hong Kong and they speak Cantonese, I don't). They're also a Buddhist place.
It's a typical Cantonese dim sum experience: wash your plates with hot water/tea (this is common in South China/HK - a pot of Jasmine tea is automatically provided to you at the start for a small fee), you flag down a waiter, and the journey begins.
The dim sum menu is in English/traditional Chinese and you write what you want on the menu and send it off. They split items into small, medium, and large items to help you understand how much to order. Most things stay the same, but the menu changes from time to time. I've really liked their (giant) "chicken" dumplings, their char siu bao (BBQ "pork" dumplings), dumpling cordyceps soup, and dim sum classic - mango pudding. While the lunch/dinner menu has clear markings as to what has eggs and what doesn't, the dim sum menu is less clear, so fair warning to those who don't eat eggs.
The place can get super crowded, even though it fits, like 100 people. I've had to eat outside of the restaurant on tables they set up just because of how crowded it can get.
To get there, it's near the Jordan station in Kowloon. You have to look for a place called "三德素食" (3 Virtues Vegetarian) It's in a place just around the corner from the station on the 3rd floor. They have a tiny stall on the ground floor of that building that sells snacks, should you want to carry something for later.
Go here for the experience of eating some great dim sum in the part of the world it was born without having to worry about eating any meat.
Pros: Great Dim Sum experience, Tasty food
Cons: No English-speakers, Can be a bit much for the unfamiliar

Cantonese dim sum - Edit
The menu are easy to read and they list if eggs are added to the dishes. We really like their dim sum selection. Note: get the boiled peanuts instead of the sugary pineapple. They automatically put it on your table when you sit down. They give us free wet napkins. So ask for them if you need to.
