What a pleasant surprise - Edit
We ended up at the York last minute because the place we were originally going was closed.

The food was absolutely delicious, very flavourful and there were many vegan options.The staff were super friendly, and welcoming to my dog which i always appreciate.
The prices were all very fair and the food a high quality. will definitely be back!

Menu is now wholly Indian food - Edit
Delicious food, but we were surprised to find the menu is fully Indian cuisine now rather than classic pub which we had hoped for. However the menu does have a dedicated vegan section with 2 different pancakes and a biriani, and a selection of small plates.

The vegan fish & chips were lovely but the roast was not as good.
