Good as a hotel, bad for food - Edit
My experience as a hotel guest here was pretty decent. But when it came to food, it was rather lacking. They let us know in advance all allergens/suitability of the breakfast items would be clearly indicated, so we pre-booked it. That wasn't the case. There were no labels anywhere. If you asked the staff, you would get different answers from different people.
Read moreE.g. one person told us almost all of the spreads were vegan, but when I asked another to confirm which were and which weren't, the answer was along the lines of "I think this one maybe is". So in the end, I stuck to the things I was able to get very confident answers about from the staff. I didn't eat other meals here, but I checked the menu and nothing was indicated there either. My advice is to just avoid this place for food

Read moreThis hotel is ultra modern with an emphasis on sustainability. The toiletries are vegan. Recycled materials have been used in the design including recycled leather. I don’t have a problem with this - better than landfill or incineration - but be aware if this would bother you.
The cafe/bar
Again, this is ultra modern. There’s lots of different space to relax, work or meet up with people. There are some vegan options on the bar menu with most other items being vegetarian. I had the soup one evening which was delicious. Non-dairy milks available.
The problem is the breakfast. We paid for breakfast the night before have been told it was mostly plant-based. On arrival the next morning I was surprised to find very little I could eat as a vegan. Bread and butter (but no spread) and some oats. Lots of croissants but none vegan. The tomatoes had egg in. I asked a member of staff what was vegan and she paused and said it’s all plant-based until I pointed out that the eggs aren’t. A manger then came out and told me the eggs are vegan. When I said they’re not, he told me all the vegans he knows eat eggs. They both told me the mushroom pastry rolls were vegan but by this point I didn’t trust a word they said and asked for a refund. With such a lack of basic understanding - especially when describing your offer as plant-based - I can’t give this place more than 1 star which is a great shame as the layout and vegetarian choices are good. There’s so much potential wasted. Also the eateries in the area tend to open later so there aren’t many breakfast choices and we would have definitely had more breakfasts here if there’d been proper vegan choices.

Vegan-friendly hotel at a great location - Edit
We stayed here for a weekend and it’s a pretty hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. They opened in April 2024 and offer pods with shared bathroom as well.
Read moreWe had the Usual Plus room which was quite spacious for 2 people. It was pretty and the bathroom contained vegan shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and handwash by Marie-Stella-Maris.
The location is great: there are nice vegan restaurants, museums, cinemas and shops at walking-distance but it’s quiet enough so you can sleep well.
Their menu is vegan-friendly: everything is clearly marked, even the drinks! Also, almost everything is vegetarian which is a big plus for a hotel/bar/restaurant. We tried a beer, white wine and nuts/beans mix which was nice.
